Nothing here yet. I thought I will wake up and find the code, I only found Apple's email about Mountain Lion. As if... Anyway, still waiting..... (UK)

I'm in the UK too - here's my experience...

- Received my first code, after filling in the webform, after about only 20mins - of course it didn't work! (approx 2.30pm Wed)
- I rang Apple and they advised me of the issue. (Wed night)
- I chased them up with an email after 24hrs. (Thur afternoon)
- Received a new code by email. (approx 11pm Thur)
- Mountain Lion installed. (approx 1am Fri)

But I do agree Apple is doing "Crowd Control" with these codes, I think their New High Tech Data Center can't handle all the traffic....should of gone with 12 football fields instead of 4!

Agreed, but better they do that than crash it I guess... but what's so bad about waiting a maximum of 3 days for something that you will use for a year?

Thank you for contacting the OS X Mountain Lion Up-To-Date Support Team.

Your claim for the OS X Mountain Lion upgrade is being processed. Due to high demand some claims are taking longer than expected to process and we apologize for the delay.

Please note that we can only assist with inquiries for the OS X Mountain Lion Up-to-Date program.
For all other questions please consult http://www.apple.com/.

No idea of when they are going to get through the back log

If my math isn't wrong, I think you are not using it since it is a app store download, it will ask you for the password of whoever's account that downloaded that copy under that specific account. Those files have a particular ownership signature that can be quite hard to crack.

:) math?

the receipt file is removed or some thing like that....

take a lookie on mac-torrents.com.

Sigh.... if I could I would just bring in my Macbook Pro into an Apple store, show them my proof of purchase, serial and all that and get my free OSX DVD... but everything has to go through the App Store these days -____-

I've been trying to find news articles for perhaps a spokesman quote from Apple but OF COURSE Google News is c*nsored here

Speaking of App Store;

Around 3.5 GB of the 4.3 were downloaded when I left my MacBook and went to sleep. I was hoping to wake up and find ML download done.

Unfortunately, it wasn't... For whatever reason, the computer had went to sleep and the download was paused. I clicked Resume and got "Waiting" for about 10 minutes. I quit App Store and opened it again, hoping to be able to resume the download. Now, it's saying "Cannot connect to App Store" (though the Internet is clearly working; I just typed and submitted this post).

Any idea as to why this has happened? And more importantly, what I can do to save the 3.5+ GB I downloaded, and install god damn Mountain Lion?

Wow, Mountain Lion really does not want to get its ass installed does it? :/

After waiting endlessly for that code, downloading for a few hours (slow connection speed), getting 3.5+ GB completed, this happens.... Couldn't find a way to connect App Store again, so restarted my MacBook...

Log back in..App Store connects...but those 3.5+ GB vanished into thin air...ML resumed from 0 MB/4.34 GB

I don't want to encourage anyone to do the same, but I was able to get a refund after accidentally purchasing Mountain Lion. I did finally get my content code, but I have yet to try it. It may be for OS X Server for all I know. Mountain Lion is still available in my purchases history, and the credit will hit my account in a few days (supposedly).

Nearly 48 hours later...

I have my Lion Server code..

Actually no, the code was for client only, not server. Apple.. what has happened to you??

Almost 48 hours and still nothing. Call me crazy, but it seems that this whole process could have been totally automatic and codes could have been sent out instantly....

I'd be more than happy to give your code a shot having already sent 5 pops to no avail. :)

It's now days after release and still no code. Not even a non-working one. No reply from Apple email support either. No Apple emails at all, actually. including that mocking Mountain Lion release email.

I'm out of free time. If they can't handle something simple as sending out codes I can only imagine how poorly Mountain Lion is coded.
