In Day view on iPhone Calendar, there are two different views. The Day view which shows you your day visually and list view which shows a list of events. The Calendar widget in Notification Center Today view also is displayed in whichever view you are currently using. However, on my iPad, it seems like the only view that is accessible in Notification Center is the list view. I would like to display the day view in Notification Center. Is this possible? I can't figure anything out. I'd like to be able to have the same "view" in Notification Center across all my devices. It seems like Yosemite, judging from screenshots, is in the day view (as opposed to list view), iPad is in list view and iPhone can be in either. So is there any way to change iPad to day view in Notification Center?
Since upgrading my iPhone and iPad, they seem to run out of battery extremely fast.
Anything I can do or maybe change in settings?

imessage: no audio option?
If you have this problem, can try this first.
(1) It seems the voice/video memo function will be ONLY enabled automatically when sender and receiver are all iPhone(iMessage app) users.
(2) In my case, if I choose a receiver who is a iPhone user too, then the voice/video memo function button is working nicely.
(3) The receiver doesn't need to run iOS 8. I have tried iOS 6 iOS 7 friends, there is no problems at all.
(4) In conclusion, you have to find another iPhone user to experience new function just like the same requirement of Facetime.
How come my iphone does not shown with imessage opotion on other people's phone?
You need to check
a) setting=> general=> reset=> reset network settting .. once you do that, make sure you set wifi onc again
b) setting=> message or facebook .. was imessage turned on? if not, do so and it will aks your cloud ID and password.
once you get those set up.. now, your phone is visible by others with imessage option. they can send you audio/video messages.🙂

I've found it to be hit and miss. But, my theory is that if all of your tabs are closed, except the one that you change the preference on, then it will stay the same.
I haven't proved the theory, but I bet I'm on to something.😉

Now. you could be hit by a bus a little later today.
I've upgraded 5 of the 6 devices that I have access to. I've had no problems with the upgrade process or the upgrade itself. everything I use works as it should.

It's like that because on the iPhone's safari tab view in iOS 7-8 you swipe left to close, and it brings consistency to all the versions of safari.

Thank you. I see the consistency. On an iPad it's instinctive to me to swipe up because the tabs are oriented laterally, while on the iPhone they're stacked. But again, I agree it is consistent and therefore I understand and agree. I appreciate you helping me understand.

Stupid Question (Don't Anwser): I do I turn on my iOS Device

Stupid question: Is there a way to turn off the screen during a phone call without ending the call?

It shouldn't. It should silence, then deny the call if you haven't already answered, but it should just put the display to sleep when on a call. At least that's how it has always worked for me on all of my iPhones, as well as my wife's iPhone.
Weird. If I am in the middle of a call and push the sleep/wake button, it immediately ends the call. This is on an iPhone 6+ on 8.0.2
Is this while you are on speakerphone or have a headset (wired or bluetooth)? Or is this while you are just talking normally using the earpiece by your ear?
