In iOS 7 I had a folder called my photo stream. In iOS 8 I don't seem to have that folder with the 400 pictures saved in my photostream anymore.
How will I access my 400 pictures on my iPhone now?

Make sure iCloud Photo Library is off, your photostream should be enabled after that.

I think there is a beta 5 bug that didn't show the photostream right. Not sure, I thought I saw something on it.

Or maybe they got rid of the folder? Not too sure at this point. I haven't tested that enough and with the GM coming out this afternoon, might as well wait and see how it works.

Now have the GM and have no iCloud photo library option, have they taken it out

Please someone tell me how to switch of Voice control (dialling) from the lock screen. I always manage to pocket dial people because of this. It used to be a pain to switch of in iOS7 but I can't find the option in iOS8 now.

I believe it's in the passcode section where you can disable Siri (and Voice Dialing) from the lockscreen. Normally shouldn't happen unless you are somehow pressing the home button in the pocket, which normally shouldn't be happening.

Thanks for this, for some reason it's not there anymore for me. In the past I had to enable Siri before it appeared but no such luck.

I have an uncanny ability to pocket dial people because of this feature, I've no idea how, my leg somehow seems able to press the button!

Odd that it wouldn't be there.

Out of curiosity, do you lock the screen before you put it in your pocket?

Is quick reply only working when using the phone and sliding down the notification banner? I was under the assumption that one could quick reply from anywhere including the lock screen. From the lock screen it just takes me directly to the Messages app. Running iOS 8 GM on iPhone 5.

From the lock screen, swipe to the left, not to the right.

It does but the location in my iMessages don't always work. Thought updating that would fix it.
Are those tied together? I mean they seem related, but not sure if the app for one affects the service for the other necessarily.

Does iOS 8 cover up the white space found on non-rectangle album art like it did prior to iOS 7.0.4 for 3.5" devices? (the white space before was just whatever background you chose instead of the annoying white)

This question is stupid because I'm bad at searching for the answer.

Is there documentation anywhere about the changes being made re: provisioning profiles and testflight? I currently use testflight heavily and have yet to be sent any proper documentation for how things are going to change and what I'll have to do to prepare for the changes. All I've been told is that I can have 25 itunes connect accounts with 10 devices each for internal testing then 1000 accounts for external testing of apps that have gone through a review process.

In both cases, I am at an utter loss for words of how gimped testing will become compared to old testflight and I'm really excited to see just how slow our continuous integration process will become thanks to these awful changes so any indication as to what to expect internally would be welcome.

One thing I find annoying(iPad air) is when I use a bookmark and click on it the bookmark folder doesn't automatically close. It goes to the site with a split screen and I have to push the bookmark icon for it to go away.Is this normal, any way to get the folder to close without the additional button push?

how can we quickreply the text message from the lockscreen?

As stated in another thread, it's there if you have message preview on. You won't see it if it's turned off, as that would defeat the point of having message preview turned off.

It's now transparent.

From the lock screen swipe left. Like in the pic. Only works if message preview on lock screen is enabled. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410734015.805911.jpg
