The way everyone is complaining about Unlimited Choice being 3mbps, I don't understand.

If people are cool with buffering or streaming lower resolution to save some money, then that's a great "Choice" to give people. Some people can live like that and be okay.

They choose to accept that plan and it counteracts all the LTE bandwidth that they are opening up to us at a fair price. (22gb/line and often speeds aren't reduced beyond after 22gb cap)

They get the experience they expect and that helps us maintain higher quality service we want.

That being said:

If I we're looking into the Unlimited Choice & had a network unlocked GSM phone, I would definitely go with Cricket Unlimited plan.

Runs off AT&T towers and caps speed at 8mbps vs. 3.
Beyond that, their prices are lower and include taxes/fees.

I'm confused about the $10 charge for "wearables". If I have an iPhone and an Apple Watch, doesn't the watch connect through the phone? Do I still have to pay $10 a month for that?

Considering this plan but one of the lines on my plan is a old school flip phone. Does anyone know if I can (assuming I get a SIM that's the right size and tell ATT that I want the SIM to be for a smartphone) swap the SIM at will between a cellular iPad and the flip phone?

No, no data caps with Comcast, or at least not that I have seen.

Yes there is data caps with regular residential internet service from Comcast. We in Florida had it for some 2 years plus I think, it was only 300GB in the beginning and of course there were some tiny written paragraph in the contract that made that you couldnt get out of contract. Criminals.

Nobody wants to have 3mbps aka 3G **** that unlimited plan I rather have the 10 or 16 gb plan of fast lte

I'm sure if "nobody" wants it, they will quickly remove the plan.

I also bet they did a little research and found there's a market for it. (Probably a small market)

Not everyone has the same needs for speed and data consumption.

I'd rather have LTE speeds too

I made myself a chart to compare the plans. It also helps to show the only person the breakdown of the plans. If I want Unlimited it makes the most sense to stay on the one currently offered.

As a 10 year customer of AT&T, we just switched to T-Mobile last week. We're saving so much money and the service has been the same. Peace out AT&T!

We're $40 less a month than AT&T's new plans and there were no activation fees. What a joke!
I got the trial account with T-Mobile for 14 days I was so happy to save money until I realized saving money meant coverage only in the middle of the city thanks but no thanks! T-Mobile is like MetroPCS...truly for the people who don't travel or go beyond downtown!

The plan is live on my account online and it shows the FAN does apply! Just as they stated. 21% off of $115 base = $24.15 discount.

Metro pcs offers unlimited lte plus 8gbs of tethering for $60. $50 if you don't want tethering data.

Isn't it supposed to be unlimited plus?

Yeah! Not seeing them as live yet either...
I keep getting looped back to the future unlimited plans page when trying to explore available options.

Something is broken
[doublepost=1488445102][/doublepost]The plan appears to be available on the desktop site but I get an error message when I click on it.

Unlimited plus for a single line is $70 and choice is $40?

So that changes things

Is it throttling or deprioritization in AT&T's case?
I believe, someone correct me if I'm wrong, that if you meet those criteria outlined above you get deprioritized which will cause in throttling your speeds. Basically, you will get bumped down on the "totem pole" if the tower you are using is very congested thus causing you to not have as fast of speeds as you normally would.
If say, you went over your allowance of 22GB per billing cycle but you were connected to a tower that is not congested with lots of traffic, you shouldn't see any difference in speeds.

I've just been informed the Unlimited Plus and Choice plans have been delayed for ordering.

Also given a time estimate of "very soon" on availability.
...........
Just switched mine, on phone with Directv to get the $$25 credit now.

I just switched mine and she said that she sees my 25% work discount. I really hope it sticks.

chat folks dont know what they are doing. Quoted me 190 for my 4 lines.. how they got that number makes no sense. They are still firm FAN does not apply

chat or call?
So I just got off a chat with an AT&T rep. They ARE honoring FAN discounts. I just switched over to the UDP Plus over the chat, received my FAN discount, can sign up for AutoPay using a credit card, and receive the $25 credit to DTV. I just saved a nice chunk of money.

Additionally I asked her to annotate my account (just in case I don't receive any of the discounts) and she said that the chat is saved in their system, as well as, I can print/save the chat and use in case of a confusion.

they claim they changed my plan but still can't get into mobile hot spot and plan still shows old plan.. website isn't responding now
