they claim they changed my plan but still can't get into mobile hot spot and plan still shows old plan.. website isn't responding now
Have you tried rebooting? For folks that changed from a plan that had mobile got spot to the previous unlimited plan (which didn't have it), their hotspot stayed until a reboot.

I cannot even log into my ATT account to play with the numbers and see if the change makes sense. Their website is not loading and it is crashing. Oh well, what would I expect from ATT?

Hmm, odd.. websites ok for me. Hope you get it sorted out.

I believe, someone correct me if I'm wrong, that if you meet those criteria outlined above you get deprioritized which will cause in throttling your speeds. Basically, you will get bumped down on the "totem pole" if the tower you are using is very congested thus causing you to not have as fast of speeds as you normally would.
If say, you went over your allowance of 22GB per billing cycle but you were connected to a tower that is not congested with lots of traffic, you shouldn't see any difference in speeds.
Well, that's the thing, deprioritization and throttling aren't the same thing, and one doesn't cause the other really. They might have somewhat similar effect at times, but their implementation and details are different.

What you describe is essentially what deprioritization is, while throttling is more along the lines of an artificial speed limit/cap that is placed at some point and is there until the end of the billing cycle typically.

The main story says "$25 bill credit towards DirecTV, DirecTV NOW, or AT&T U-verse each month" but I can not find any mention of the discount applying to U-verse on any offical AT&T page, has anyone gotten it?

This whole FAN confusion is ticking me off. Im thinking of going to T-Mobile. $140 for 4 lines with taxes included. That is normally 180 but with 20 off for autopay and 20 of for 3rd line it is 140. Sim cards are 3.99 today instead of $25. Either way if you don't like their service within 20 days you get full refund. Even if i get FAN discount with ATT im at $165.05 plus taxes and fees

I just switched mine and she said that she sees my 25% work discount. I really hope it sticks.

CRAP!!! The rep just called me back. She said that only military/veteran discounts apply to the plan. Even though it shows, it won't apply when the bill cuts. I asked her if she was sure and she said yes and apologized for giving me misinformation earlier.

It didn't say plus in the screen shot?

No, but its based on the price. There are two options. One for $145 and one for $175. The $175 is the plus. Additionally, that was as soon as it went live, so I'm sure the entire system is still updating.

I was just told (on the phone right now) that you pick FAN vs DIRECTV discount. The fan comes off the $115 new plan price, so in my case $28.50. $115-28.50 = $86.75 + $20 per line, (7x20=$140). $226.75+taxes. vs $115+140+taxes.

so basically theres a $3 difference, but she said there could be a glitch and I can get both, just have to see how the bill shakes out.

I restarted phone and hotspot is working

Okay. Did you call to get it changed or website? Just curious as their website is having issues and I don't know if I should just call them instead of doing it on my own. Thanks.

I'm currently on the 30GB Mobile Share Plan with 5GB bonus data, four lines for $164/month. The price comparison for the new Unlimited Plus plan says I would pay $155. I'm also a DirecTV customer, does the $10 combined bill stack with the new $25 discount off DirecTV?

They just told me that my FAN does not apply at all (no choice of FAN vs. $25 DirecTV credit either). I complained heavily about that because if I decide to cancel DirecTV for any reason I will not get any type of discount since this new plan essentially renders my FAN discount useless. Plus I suspend my DirecTV service for 6 months every year so I don't even think I'll see any type of discount until I start up my DirecTV service again in August.

This is pretty crappy by AT&T. Even with this new plan they are definitely lagging behind Verizon and T-Mobile, and their customer service is terrible. Every time I call them now it's at least 1 hour on the phone for even the most basic request. That's just unacceptable.
