**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

I'm from Tucson as well, but haven't had any change in my status of backordered. Calling 611 all they see is that I ordered the phone in the evening of 6/16, which is when it officially hit my CC. Basically, we got put to the back of the queue, because our order processed through Premier to the ATT ordering system. I'm actually waiting for an escalation, since the 611 guy really couldn't do any more investigating on his side. He totally understands my frustration that people who physically ordered 7-8 hours after I did are already receiving shipping notices. That's BS, and goes against the fact that the email confirmation clearly states my order would be fulfilled in the 'order it was received'.

I'm on the line with a Premier rep right now....I'll post an update as soon as the phone conversation is over.

Mine is coming via UPS though. My tracking number isn't in the system yet.

Exact same situation. I have had my FEDEX info since early yesterday a.m. but it still shows "no information received" message. No AT&T emails besides the order confirmation.

OK, I just got off the phone with FedEx so that I could stop stressing. Here's where I'm at:

Order placed online, non-Premiere AT&T upgrade on 6/15 at 5:30 AM ET
Received "Your recent Online AT&T Order" on 6/16 at 9:00 PM ET
Online order status showed "100" (no backorder) immediately, with Order Date correctly listed as 6/15
Received "Your att.com order 5051xxxxxxx has shipped" generic email on 6/21, FedEx tracking number posted on AT&T's tracking page (no data on FedEx site)
Received "Your att.com order 5051xxxxxxx has shipped" specific email with FedEx tracking number this morning, 6/22. Still no data on FedEx site.

The rep I spoke with at FedEx checked my tracking number (I feared there may have been some error somewhere), and she said that FedEx has my tracking number, and it is scheduled to ship out tomorrow from AT&T.

Gives me peace of mind that even if the number is not showing up on the FedEx site, that at least they are aware of it and are expecting it. Still I'll feel better once I know that it's actually relinquished from AT&T's control.

My situation is exactly the same as yours. Ordered mine around 11, new AT&T customer. Mine still says processing with no tracking number.

Maybe they are processing orders for existing AT&T customers first and then for people who are new.... hopefully the new customers get there phones on the 24th.
 
Both of my phones that I ordered at 6pm on the 15th are in Tennessee heading to FL and both will be in tomorrow, but I ordered from AT&T and they are having them sent to the store. I just spoke with the store manager and they told me that unless I get a call saying I can pick it up I can't get it. They don't anticipate anything until thursday. You better believe if it says delivered I am going to pick my phones up.

the guy i talked to was extremely nice and as helpful as he could possibly be. he checked my info and made sure it was all right and that it had been processed.

he was totally honest and said that the AT&T systems are a complete wildcard at this point. everything looks good for thursday but he obviously couldn't guarantee it. the "first come first served" shenanigans is also just that, shenanigans. they have people holed up in cubicles doing each of the premier orders by hand in batches, and since the systems were so messed up last thursday, its near impossible to put them all in chronological order and then do the processing and shipping, so they just do them as they arrive on their desk.

hope this makes people feel somewhat better. no it isn't specific and doesn't explain if people in my boat are getting the phone on thursday. But at least he acknowledged that the systems being so messed up are out of anyone's control.

I'm in the same situation.

I ordered from the At&T Store on 06/15 at 1:18pm cst.

-No order confirmation.

-this my order status, updated yesterday 06/21 at 12:45pm cst:

-No shipping confirmation. No working tracking email link with FedEx.
 
I ordered 32gb from regular AT&T site around 12:30pm PST on 6/15 so should have made the "cut-off." Order Status says ordered 6/16. Still "In Progress" and was never backordered. I'm in the SF Bay Area. Anyone from around here have their shipping info yet?
 
I was worried all day yesterday I ordered early on 6/15 around 05:15EST. Yesterday on premier it showed processing and backordered on the regular site, but late last night the backordered went away and today I got the tracking number and fedex shows

You're in a similar situation as me.
 
Since I'm a little bored at work I called FedEx again about the 23rd delivery date.

The lady assured me that she was familiar with Apple Iphones and other products and how they usually hold shipments until release day. She also assured me that my phone would be delievered tomorrow by 3 p.m. and there are no holds on the box at all.

Just trying to talk myself into actually believing it, carry on.... :)
