FEDEX overnight from Fort Worth(business days only i guess). I guess they got that shipment after all!

6807 group. 2 x 32GB. Shipped today from Texas and should be here by Monday. I guess they really are trying to get them out. I still don't understand how no one at Apple or AT&T could foresee the demand for this phone. Good luck everyone. Slowly but surely, the phones are moving.
 
Good stuff coming I see, I gave in and checked mine and :( I'm still In Progress, but atleast you guys getting updates shows some promise.

32 GB still "in progress..."

I have never subscribed to any forum; after following the postings concerning the AT&T pre-orders diligently, and finding them to be quite insightful I had to enlist.

I am in the 5051 boat. I like many others patiently spent the better part of the 15th trying to pre-order on the Apple site. I was hesitant to go through AT&T, however I was able to submit my pre-order there mid-day and figured it would be little difference.

I received a confirmation email shortly after. The following day I receive a "verify credit card" email. I have never had problems with my card. I wait on the line with AT&T for 40 mins, while looking at my online banking, she tries the card again and it mysteriously worked. She had explicitly assured me in exact words "your place in line will not be lost," otherwise I would of just canceled.

I then checked my wireless order status to find that my order was listed at 6/17. I called them again and was very rudely told I was thrown to the back of the line because of "credit card problems." She then began to tell me that I didn't pre-order because they were only accepting pre-orders the 15th. I then questioned her boldly, "is my order processed?," she replies, "yes," so I told her then technically, "it is a pre-order!"

To conclude: no update, still in progress, the pre-auth on my card disappeared. The whole point of pre-ordering, putting a hold on my card, aggravation, etc: worthless.
 
Ordered through AT&T on the 15th at 11AM ET after unsuccessfully attempting to order on Apple site twice. Phone shipped on the 23rd. Received on the 24th. I'm out.
 
What was the point in preordering??

My order # is a 6806. Does anyone have a clue as to when that batch is due to ship?
 
I was here dumbass! Maybe UPS should give me more than 15 seconds to answer the damn door! i dont mind waiting an extra day anyway. But the fact that at&t promised these phones on the 24th and only 1/2 of us get them. or i get only 1/2 of my order is poor customer service.. I dont know who you work for or what you do. but you need to go back to school for a while

Thanks for the friendly greeting. Think about it. If UPS stands at the door and gives everyone 5 or 10 minutes to get out of the shower (or whatever) and mosey on down to answer it, there would be even more people here complaining about "My order said Out for Delivery at 8 am. It's now 3 pm. Where's my package!!! UPS sucks! I want my phone wah-wah-wah" It's like bitching at Apple, AT&T, UPS, and FedEx has become a sport and no one is taking the time to stop and logically think about what's going on.

By the way, it was a small percentage who didn't get their phones on the 24th, not even close to half. And some people even got theirs early.

Listening to the whining on this board, you'd think people had orders canceled and no money refunded, not a delay in shipping of a day or two.

Things happen. Sometimes demand exceeds projected supply (learned that in school). Surely you are familiar with that and with the resulting concept of backordering.
 
Hey hey hey - Just thought i'd chime in since most of you were grateful for when I was on the edge of my seat for the past 2 weeks.

How's everyones status doing? Still hoping for the best for all of you.
 
Still waiting here. :( No updates, no charge on my credit card, all AT&T can tell me is that it's coming soon.

I had a funny experience with AT&T's customer service yesterday. I called the number posted here a few times and someone picked up right away - no punching in order numbers or phone numbers or anything. :eek: And she was very helpful too, telling me that she saw my order was placed on the 15th, and that there was a note there saying they were working to make sure all orders placed on the 15th were filled as fast as possible. She said I should see something happen within 24 hours. Not really anything new, but nice to hear some kind of a time line at least.

Of course, no interaction with AT&T can go 100% smooth, my iPhone dropped the call while she was mid-sentence. :mad: I knew I should have pulled the car over. She probably thought I hung up on her and pushed my order to the back of the line again. :p

WHO WILL BE THE LAST ONE STANDING?!? I think I have a pretty good shot at it so far. ;)

I think I can challenge you for the last one. My call to ATT today was with by far the dumbest rep I've spoken to all week. She kept telling me that my order was in process, and that I should call the automated number for updates. I actually did hang up on her.

In process, no CC charge, no promises from AT+T.

When is the next shipment to AT+T stores due? Tuesday?

This is a contest I will whole-heartly join. Here are a few reasonable rules.

Rule #1 If you receive tracking info from AT&T that can be seen by FedEx in 24 hours of posting you're out.
Rule #2 If you pick up an iPhone 4 from somewhere else you're out.
Rule #3 If you cancel your order with AT&T you're out.
Rule #4 If you had previously inactive tracking info from AT&T which went active, you're out.

Add any more rules you think are fair.
 
This is one contest I'm glad to lose. Until about 2 hours ago I just knew I would be the last one. I was so angry at AT&T and then I would get angry with myself for caring about a phone this much. I know this doesn't help (didn't help me), but be patient.
 
Got a shipment! Should be here monday by 3pm, Going to see if I can pick it up at the FedEx location, since I have to get a microsim (I was told mine doesnt include one)
 
I feel very sorry for those of you guys that haven't got your iPhones and don't really know when they are coming. My boss is in the same boat. He can't even log into the regular ATT order status page.

Damn, sorry to hear folks. As far as AT&T getting iPhones, I think they were pushed back until the 29th, but I think thats shipments being sent to the retail stores. So if you want to attempt that, perhaps you should ask them about it (not saying you'll get a decent answer but maybe something).

Seriously though...who goes into a thread on the order status of a product and randomly starts bitching people out? That's what this thread is here for! Sounds to me like you are either one of the lucky people who actually received there order on time or you work for AT&T. Why else would you have even found any interest in checking out this forum anyway?

I just want my tracking number before post #7000.

Anyone else that ordered at 5AM and spent 20 hours on the phone only to be lied to repeatedly -- justice came in the form of a $200 credit, special rate plan, and 1000 free rollover minutes -- just an FYI!

I had to call the 0500 line and ask to speak to retention though (retention handles cancellations). The regular customer care reps simply don't have the power.

32GB, adding a line, 6804...
 
Ok trying a new method. I pre-ordered my two iphones and they wont be shipped until the 15th of July...put my name on the list at my local store to see if I cant get one through them faster (I reserved two phones) Wish me luck..!!
