**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

My local AT&T store said that they don't make any more calls. If you know it's at the store already, why not call them, or just go there and pick it up?
 
iPhone 4 is in my hands. Just wanted to confirm I got it.

Ordered 7.17 at my local AT&T store.

Tracked it via UPS (had it shipped to the store).

Picked it up today, 7.26.

Didn't wait for them to call me. Just followed the tracking online, then showed up at the store a few hours after it arrived there. You don't need to wait for them to call/email you to pick it up.

I was charged tax on the full price in NV (bought it under the family account). When I bought my 3G they charged me tax on the subsidized price, wonder what changed?

So after reading through these posts, it looks like the 7-10 days AT&T is quoting is a lie?

I placed two orders, for a 16GB and a 32GB, on Friday, and I'm hoping they come the first week of August.

Also, if it hasn't shipped yet, we can still call and cancel our orders, right?

Did you order online or in store? My order only took three days to ship and it was for a 32GB model.

Online. My account has a NV billing address but I'm in CA for college, so that was really the only option I had. You?

PS: Mine's still on backorder as of 2 minutes ago. Don't know if they process/ship on weekend though.

San Francisco Bay area in NorCal. They do process orders on weekends, just don't ship them. Tell me if you need pics.
 
Ordered 2 16gig from Local Store on 07/15, Both are still On back order. They Let me ship them to my house.

Nope, just need to cross my fingers. I suppose if they don't ship soon, I'll see if I can cancel and get one at Best Buy/Apple Store, now that they do walk-ins.

I got mine 32GB black iPhone 4 on launch day and returned it on 07/07 cause I wanted a white one. Since apple screwed up the white one I again ordered it in Att store on 7/23 still on backorder. If any of 7/22 or 7/23 folks are off backorder please lemme know!
 
i ordered a 32gig on 7/24, rep said it would be shipped out today (7/26) or tomorrow (7/27). status is still "back-ordered."

ordered another 32gig today (07/26) and not surprisingly, it's back-ordered. but rep said it should be shipped in 7-9 business days, although most people are getting theirs in 5.

both me and the person i ordered for today were waiting for the white iphone 4's to come out, only to be disappointed. neither of us wanted to wait any longer, so opted for the blacks instead. if i had known there would be this big of a delay on the whites, i would've pre-ordered the black one when they first put it up for pre-order :(

I returned mine black 32 GB on 7/7 for white one! I got an iPad yesterday so I can play with it till I get my iPhone 4.
 
Ordered 7/19 from AT&T Premier online. Just got an email from AT&T re-stating that my order will ship 7-14 days from time of receipt.

Those of you that ordered from Premier. Did you get one of these 2nd confirmation emails after the original order confirmation? Just wondering if this email is any sign of anything in the processing process, or if it's just routine and is no indicator whatsoever of when this thing might come off backorder.

2 days after I went into a att store, funds were withdrawn from my account. Even though funds have been taken out, my order status is still on back order. The att guy said i wouldn't be billed until it shipped (16g black iphone 4) what gives? any one have any info on this?

I got the same email. Ordered on 7/19. Must be just an automated email.

Debit or credit card? I too was told this. I paid with a debit card and funds have been taken out already even though mine is still on back order. Pretty sure it has something to do with it being a debit card and not a credit card.
 
it's an authorization charge, if the phone stays on backorder for a while, the funds will be put right back in your account.

I was also waiting for white, but 'end of the year' means October or later, probably, and I'm not waiting that long for a phone. When the white does come out, I'll sell my black one to pay for it.

I wonder if the people who ordered on 7/9, 7/13 etcetera are ordering 16GBs? That seems like an awfully long time compared to the 5-7 days that some people are getting.
 
Went to the local apple store for the hell of it and thought hmmm maybe i'd get on the apple wait list while i wait for AT&T is "progressing" my order. Welll the apple store had them in stock! But my order I already had with AT&T stopped my buy there I guess I am just gonna stalk my local apple store instead of wait til i turn blue with the shipping process of AT&T
