Yeah, probably. Did you get yours today too? Probably just a 7th day courtesy email to let people know they haven't forgotten about them. Probably cuts down on the calls they start to get after 7 days is up.
You should check here: https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/. It gives a more detailed order status than the Premier link.
I've been pretty hooked on that link myself lately. I gotta just go lock myself away from a computer for a few days or something.

I ordered the 16 gig at an AT&T store last Friday the 23rd. Now I call my local bestbuy and they have some of the 32's in stock.
I want to go buy but can't cancel my original order since I went in and ordered it in person. Also that AT&T store is closed for the night. Any other ideas how to cancel over the phone to some number? This was an upgrade from an 3G

I also got the auto-generated email (at 5:02 eastern). I noticed they gave the alternate (non-premier) website to check order status which they did not give in the initial email.
For all the talk about how fast the 32s are shipping, from a premier standpoint, it appears as though the 16s are catching up (with people reporting 7/12 and 7/13 as latest to ship). I ordered a 32GB on 7/16 via premier and it is still backordered. Southeastern Massachusetts area.
If you're looking to get one fast, looks like the best bet right now is to order a 32GB non-premier. People seem to be getting those shipped within days.
Any premier 32GB orders out there earlier than 7/16 that are still on backorder? Are any of the premier orders moving?

It's only valid for premier though: I tried it with consumer's warehouses (ZMDC and such) but it just shows 0 for me. Probably because I'm not consumer.
Got a quick question for people who have ordered from an AT&T store. I placed my order at the AT&T store on Saturday, July 24, but I still haven't received an order number through email. I also can't find any existing order when I type in my phone number on the Order Status website.
Is there something wrong, or do I just need to be more patient?

Thanks for that; do you have any numbers on how many are coming off backorder each day?
If they've moved through 7/12 and 7/13 today, and they can get through 7/14, 7/15, 7/16, and 7/17 by Wednesday, then there's a small glimmer of hope that I, as a 7/18er, might have my phone by Friday. PLEASE GOD MAKE IT SO.
I will be ever so pissed if I have to wait through another weekend. With my rotten luck, however, that's probably exactly what will happen. Sigh...
