Mine finally shows on the ATT order status page! I left the first two digits of the order number visible because I thought they all started in 5? Mine starts in 61.
It also says 6/16 order date even though I ordered 6/15 (this seems really common though)
UPDATE: Just checked and My CC was charged for the amount of an iPhone 4 16gb

Wait For Non Pre-Orders/Reservations
I tried all day yesterday to pre-order but was unable to get through. When do people in the same boat as me get to have a chance to Pre-Order again? I know I won't be getting one on June 24th, but I don't want to have to wait till July 15th to finally get one. Thanks.

Not sure what to make out of the order date. If i had to guess, I'd say ATT has the queue based on order number. My listed date is 6/16 but my order number starts at 501-
I would certainly hope they have a system in place to process the orders in the order they were received. It's plastered over all their confirmation emails so I assume this will be the case. I ordered at 9AM central yesterday so I should be good for June 24th delivery
Ordered the 32GB black on 06/15 at 5:30 AM on the att.com/wireless website for the upgrade price of US$ 299 plus tax. My order number begins with 68 and as of now, it still says that it's in progress (not backordered for me). I received my confirmation email from AT&T at around 9:11 PM (EST), almost 30 hours after I placed my order.
FINALLY my visa debit got charged and I can now view my order status on both the premier site and the regular AT&T wireless site. Unfortunately it says I ordered today (6/16) but my order number is 13-21***************** is that good or bad? I'm hoping I'll still get my iPhone on the 24th. (I ordered 6/15 at approx 1:30 AM PST)

ordering that early I think you should be fine. I ordered at 9AM Central and my order number is 61-21*********** Who knows what it means. Could be shipping zones? Part of the batch it will go out in? The CS reps favorite number? We could speculate all day on this
I think it would be useful though if we got a thread where we compare order numbers (partial numbers obviously because they are probably all ##-21########-# format and the same to a number of digits) to see if maybe they are in order based on what time the order was placed. In reality I don't know how this system would work without everyone posting their order numbers in public. back to the drawing board.

ha, mine starts with 2628-******* ... I also ordered mine 6/15, but it says 6/16
Order 6/15 9:30 AM EST. Status is still Attention and it's pissing me off lol. I already got a dollar hold charge on my CC though. It seems they fixed the first half of orders that had Attention status today(4am-8am.) so heres hoping they work on mine today. If not I will flip . lol
The order numbers definitely are not all the same format, mine starts with 505. There's no - in my order number either, 5051*******, in total, a solid 11 numeral order number. I finally got my order in around 545pm on the 15th. (AT&T order status online says 6/16 order date like most, however)

Mine looks like your except mine starts with 08 and shows date ordered as 06/15/2010. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing
my order # starts with 101************* and at first it said attention on the premier order check, today that was changed to processing. but i still cannot access the regular order status on att. my card has two $1 and two $0 preauthorization charges. i have a confirmation email. do you guys think i'm good? btw ordered 6/15 at 5am est.
Have two completely different order numbers. One from the ATT normal website which starts with 71-21xxxxxxxx-x and the ATT premier order ID which is 101xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Ordered at 530 eastern but had a credit card problem that wasn't solved until 4pm yesterday (16th).

On the apple order status page it says order number and its there but when i got to AT&T's order status page and put in that number it says it's not in their system? What's the deal with that?

Call them. My order didn't show up, despite ordering 30+ hours ago, until I called. Apparently, there was a problem with the number that I ported and the order wasn't finalized. I talked to a rep who kept me on the phone until he confirmed/verified both ported numbers w/Verizon (I ordered two phones). Within 5 minutes of the phone call, the order showed up on the system.
Prepare to be patient. It took one hour on hold to get someone.
EDIT: Just realized you ordered it on Apple's page. Nevermind.
So does that mean apples is as accurate as AT&T's because it says my phone is shipping on the 24th of june...Is this right then? Or will it change?
