AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

Ordered two phones, both Black 16gb, from apple.com. The one ordered at 3:56am (and confirmed at 6:43am) has been shipped and is currently in hong kong. The second one I ordered at 4:03 am (and confirmed at 6:47am) has not been shipped. Its still marked as Processing Items, with 'Delivers Oct 14' Still..

Also Does anyone know if these come with the micro-sim cards? I'm upgrading from the 3gs, and just want to be prepared.

There are four threads: Sprint, AT&T, Verizon & International. There is not one for Apple.com orders. Until there is, those that ordered through Apple.com should post in their respective carrier thread.
 
Ordered at 7am Friday via AT&T Premier. Mine also says simply "Pre-Order". I'm given the options of "received" > "pre-order" > "shipped".

So, not shipped yet I guess :(

I really was hoping they'd use fedex. Where I am (just outside Dallas), fedex usually shows up around 10:30AM. Ups not until around 3:30-5. Yeah, I know, #firstworldproblems. Less time spent on the truck is always better. :)

The truck is where you want it, safe. I work at ups, the hub is where you don't want it
 
Ordered 2 x 16GB Black on 10/07 at 8:20AM EST through AT&T site as upgrades. Received 2 e-mail confirmations at 8:23AM.

Today using the tracking link in the e-mails from Premier Online Store shows a last update of 10/08 with the pre-order ticked.

If I log into my wireless account and check orders it shows backordered and item status of processing still. No Tracking etc. Also the date ordered says 10/08.

The charge for both phones has been taken from my bank though. So I have no clue what to think. Guess I'll just wait and see.

This thread is for people that ordered from AT&T!! Not apple.com

My order status at AT&T still says processing changed from back ordered Saturday. Ordered at 3:10 cst.

This thread is NOT. For apple.com orders, it's for att site orders
 
People are obviously confused and are posting in this thread if they ordered an "AT&T" iPhone 4S, regardless of where they bought it from. Maybe a mod should rename the title?
 
Order around 4am Eastern Friday from AT&T (couldn't get it ordered through Apple's site before that).

My 16GB Black model showed back-ordered up until yesterday.
My 32GB Black model showed Processing.

I got 5 emails about the 16GB order saying that it "processed" (all saying the exact same thing, no status changes). I only got one email about the 32GB order.

Both of them show Shipment Status: Processing.

That trick to find the tracking number from FedEx or UPS using my phone number as a reference didn't work. I'll try later today.

Is it odd that people who ordered AFTER me are already finding that their orders shipped? :confused:
 
I ordered from Premier. I assume if I have Attention! in my status since Friday, I probably have to call, huh?

Had a lot of ordering problems on Friday preorder day starting 3am EST- error A438 on website and A1234, Apple website was saying issue with ATT verification step. Ended up calling ATT 800 number and ordered 2 phones but did not get those emails to verify to the order until nearly 3pm in the afternoon.
The order confirmation emails arrived at 9pm and 11pm respectively on Friday night for two 64GB black and white iphones 4S, stating a 14-21 day shipment. Given all the problems placing and confirming the orders, not sure when I will receive my phones, but I have hope.

I followed the steps to check status of the orders here -

So has anyone who's ordered with a Premier account actually gotten further than "processing" or "backorder" status? Mine is sitting like that, and I'm reading other folks who have ordered from AT&T without premier are getting shipment updates.

I'm starting to think that premier customers are going to get screwed...despite having ordered at something like 1:45AM Pacific (the earliest I could even get any site to work).

Anyone with Premier have anything more than "processing"? If so, when did you order?
