I called UPS for mine and they couldn't see the tracking number on their end yet so mine hasn't been handed off to them yet. He did tell me that it is a next day air tracking number though so once it shows up I should get it the next day. Hopefully they'll be giving it to UPS today but if not oh well, at least I'll get it Friday.
 
I ordered my phone at 1:14 am on the 7th and mine shows shipped the 12th. Not sure how some people's phones that were purchased later has an earlier shipping day? Also being delivered by UPS tracking doesn't register on UPS website yet.

What is this? I've never heard of it as long as I've been with ATT

AT&T Premier is a program that gives customers a discount on their monthly bill. The discount percent can be anywhere from 10% to 30% off.

Not everyone is eligible for the program as the program depends on your employer. However, college students may be eligible depending on their college/university.

So if you want a discount, check with your employer or college to see if they have some agreement with AT&T. Thats how you become a Premier account holder.

Curious, have you attempted contacting Fedex directly to see if your number is trackable on their end? I'm wondering if maybe my rep just got my number messed up.

no i repeated the number twice and she said it missed the cutoff thats why its not showing on my end, but is due to be delived tommorrow
 
Has anyone that ordered through the primer site have theirs shipped yet?

I have not received an email stating such, but I just called the premiere number and was told mine was at the warehouse reading for shipping and I should receive a tracking number in the next day or so.

btw...for all those premiere folks who ordered on the 7th, but had the orders register at later dates in the AT&T tracking website....I ordered on the morning of the 7th. The AT&T tracking site, for some reason, recorded it on the 8th. My order, apparently, is still shipping, so I guess the 7th is what they recognized.
 
actually if you have been following the thread, the times differ from 4:00pm to 5:30 pm EST..

and lets not forget about the people who've ordered 4:30PM CST and have already receive their shipping info..

Yes, there will be people that will get their phones on launch that ordered after the supposed cut off. That will be pure luck of the draw. But if your status says "backordered" and you ordered after 5pm, you shouldn't be wondering what's going on. I really do hope you get your phone on launch. I don't want anyone who preordered on day one to have to deal with backorders. Not even YOU!
 
ordered a 16gb black via AT&T premier about 7am central Friday morning. the premier order status screen still shows "processing", but the regular att.com screen just updated to SHIPPED with a Fedex tracking number! no info yet on the tracking number but that's normal.

Recall, there are several computer systems to take into account when refreshing an order status. Sometimes it will take a while to get all systems up to date.

No I tried tacking it online with no success. However this just showed up this morning, last night my phone was still "In Progress", so it's very possible it has yet to reach FedEx. But if the tracking number is not the correct format then it doesn't help me anyway...
 
Just got the email actually saying my order is being shipped.

On the site it shows as being shipped 10/8.

FedEx tracking number is not live yet.

I just called back and got another rep. According to her, its valid and scheduled to move tomorrow, aka start the process of getting to me, not be delivered. Was your rep clear about delivery on the 13th?
 
The craziest thing just happened. I ordered my phone at 8am on the 7th, it has been showing "processing" the entire time. I just checked my bank and the AT&T purchase amount is now GONE. It showed up since my order now today it's not there and it looks like I was credited the entire amount. But my order still shows processing. What gives?

Literally the same exact scenario with me, too! Same phone, same order time and same notices on each site. By the way, for the poster that asked the question, my tracking number also begins with a "5".

Fedex and UPS are going to be swamped with iPhones in their systems. Last year Fedex released a statement that their online tracking would be out-of-date for 4 days due to heavy traffic. But that everything would and was shipping on schedule. I have a feeling this is happening now, again.

I ordered on the7th and the order websites say the same thing.
