I finally got a tracking # from UPS, but when I go to there website to track my package, it says that it cannot be found?
Do you realize that EVERY single person here that has gotten a tracking number cant track it on the Fedex/UPS page?
Why would you be concerned and confused because yours also cant be tracked?
Any chance the iPhones could be sent today via UPS for next day shipping and we received them tomorrow!? Didn't that happen last year for some people who pre-ordered?

Of course it cannot be found. IT HASN'T SHIPPED YET.
Ordered seemed to have changed late at night from Preparing for shipment to shipped. iPhone seems to be now in Hong Kong with an expected delivery by Friday. I ordered through the Apple store, got a reservation number and completed the order the afternoon of last Friday. This is for a White AT&T 64GB iPhone 4S. Order status always said delivers by Oct 14 and didn't have reason to doubt that, even when it took a good three days to go from preparing for shipment to getting shipped.
The only hope i still have is that:
My order was placed at 8:15 am
it was backorder=1 till last night 11 pm.
Today morning it is now Back order= 0 and pending shipment.
So I am still hoping i will get my phone on Friday....if NOT...dont know what to tell my AT&T rep when he calls me to renew our company account next year....

When I track my order via Att.com, it changes from backorder to cancel.(ok, I admit that I changed a credit card once)
But when I check via phone, the status is 'your preorder has been processed and it is being held at our warehouse until the preorder shipment date,....'
I talked to a CSR, she can only tell me the order seems to go through from their internal system.
Any ideas? Who to believe? I will got pissed if something is wrong the last minute before they begin shipping it...

This thread is moving fast but I reported a couple pages back that my 64GB black (ordered at 11:00 pm EST on 10/7 via Premier) was marked as shipped as of this morning. I saw a few other reports as well...as someone else said, no method to the madness it seems.
oh hai guyz, i ordered iphone 4gs yesterday, an i am pissed i won't get it friday??!!!?? att is stupid because they won't let me upgrade even though I bought the iphone 4 a year ago. and theyre support wont tell me stuff outside of what i can see on my odor status. but i am worried because i put my phone numbers into ups tracking, but it no work yet??? i need to know now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2342354354543543% that i will get this phone because i am going out of town for 10 months on Friday at 9AM, so ups guy needs to come before then. thinks if i call ups they will send it to me todya? screw att.

I ordered from AT&T on 3:30 AM on the 7th, my card has been charged, and my FedEx tracking number appears on the website. I have not received one email from AT&T about this order, not even an order confirmation email. I have no doubt it will arrive on Friday.

Att.com 2 orders 10/7 4:30am- 4GS 16GB White with Premier order confirmation email.
Order info from att.com updated last night says both Shipped Fedex 10/10 with tracking #'s but not in Fedex search yet no reference using phone # either.
Priemer order info still says processing but new emails last night thanking me for orders also says items should arrive by 10/14 & tracking info email to follow.
CC temp auth no longer listed with no charge on CC yet.
If they really shipped on 10/10 Fedex like my att.com order info says then I do believe I will get them a day early again like last year

Hey guys. Ordered my phone last friday around 12pm. Got the Tracking # this morning from ATT website and it says they're using Fedex. Went to Fedex and there is not reference to that Tracking number just yet. Hopefully it'll show soon.
Question to all. Do I have to be there to sign for the package? The problem I am facing is that I was stuck using the address that's under the wireless account but I don't currently live there, but my parents do. The real issue is that they won't be there when the package arrives. What should I do in this situation?

Thank god your credit card payment came off too. I was getting very worried. I ordered mine at 11am on the 7th. Now when I call it say backordered. Holy cow, this is driving me crazy

My order, 16gb black, ordered through premier, has a tracking number, but it wasn't showing up in fedex's system online. I called 1800gofedex.
The rep told me the following, for what it's worth:
1. Residential shipments are shipping two day delivery. If shipped on wednesday you would get it friday. Deliveries to businesses are going overnight delivery.
2. They will not hold a package for you until they have made one delivery attempt. I won't be there on friday to sign for this and wouldn't want them leaving it on my porch anyway, so I imagine an evening run to the distribution center is in my future.
3. ATT has told Fedex that even though it is two day shipping to residences, Fedex is allowed to deliver later than two days due to the high volume of shipments.
4. There will be saturday delivery for iphones, if that wasn't already obvious.

5. The rep also said something about how ATT was expecting high shipment leaving ATT and entering FedEx's system from today through the 17th.
