Ugh... got an email an hour after placing the order that they couldn't process the credit card, so I had to call the Premier department to sort it out. Been on the phone for almost 2 hours now, and they still can't fix it. Now they say that have to re-submit the order. The can only manually enter a "promise date", which will probably still show October 16 and will have a much lower chance of getting moved up.
 
Is anybody else having problems with the ATT site...?

When I click "check upgrade eligibility it just keeps taking me back to my account home screen..I'm so pissed
 
Got the 9/24 ship date but ordering page at Att premier kept crushing and finally I got charged full price after initial screen showed subsidized price correctly. I am hoping ATT will fix without canceling the order?
 
All of you October people at least appear to be in a better position to actually get something. I ordered a 128 rose gold 6s and both in app and on website, and online it doesn't have an order details section and in the app it says zero items in my order. Have no clue what it means. Anyone else in the same boat?

Can AT&T change ship dates as they receive more stock?

I have a 10/16 ship date ordering through AT&T
 
Ordered mine at 3:08am EST of 64gb rose gold from Apple iPhone app with next 24 installment plan as previously done on my iPhone 6 Plus and got 9/25 delivery. Woohoo!
 


That looks like a regular 6S, not a 6S+. The question is whether anyone ordering a 6S+ got a launch date delivery date.

I did not. I got 10/16 to 10/23 and I ordered at 11:58 pm PST, 2 minutes before the supposed opening time.

I ordered a 128 gb 6S Plus in Gold.

I was surprised at the ship date but not really concerned, because as others have said it may get moved up and even if it doesn't, I am fine knowing one is on its way. Having it on launch day is kinda like seeing a movie on opening night. Fun, but not completely necessary.

This morning I checked the status and it says this:

In progress
We're preparing your order, and we'll let you know once it's ready.
Your order is being prepared for shipping. If you placed order within the past 24 hours, some information may not be available yet.
Estimated ship dates:
October 16, 2015 - October 23, 2015
 
This is why I risked waiting the extra 10 minutes to buy it from the Apple site even though my Premier ATT was working early. This happened last year too and I dont want any reason for them to come out with well we said October and it really not come launch date.

Some people really didn't get their early pre-order until after launch day last year ordering through ATT.
 
Ordering at AT&T was the only way to get a 2-year contract and a discounted phone.

Ordering from Apple meant having to do the Next plan and giving up the phone at the end.

To heck with that! In my case my husband always gets my old phone and I upgrade to a new one. So he's thrilled to be getting my 6-Plus 64 gig from last year, for FREE.

I preordered @ 3:05AM last year and got it about a week later w the October 16th est ship date. This year was 3:15 since the premire site had issues and have the same est ship date.

You do realize that with Next you can pay the phone either fully (one payment) or complete all the installments and keep the phone, right? You only give up your phone if you pay the minimum required and upgrade.
 
I ordered at about 3:07am through the apple app. I got a 64gb 6s+ in rose gold. Delivery date says September 25th.

I tried to order it through ATT premier but couldn't find an option for the Next plan.

That's a little steep for me it's like 475.00 lol if I'm calculating it right!
 
Everything went smoothly for me. Preordered at 2:51am ET, got my preorder confirmation email at 2:56am, and got my order confirmation at 3:08am with a September 25 delivery date.

Got a text from USAA at 8:30am wanting me to verify suspicious activity on my card wasn't fraud. Glad I wasn't the only one...

Actually, no, I did not know that. I never bothered to investigate the Next plan once it was introduced as I've always just paid up front for my phones. Budget isn't a deciding issue for my phones. Anyway, like i said earlier I'm just pleased as punch to have an order in and a phone on its way!
 
I think all the 6s Plus orders will get moved up. I submitted around 3:12AM EDT and also had an October 16 ship date. Got another email about an hour later that the credit card couldn't be processed. Called my bank to clear things up. Called AT&T in the morning and spent over 2 hours on the phone. The rep had to put my order in again, which really worried me, since my order wasn't resubmitted until 9:46AM EDT but now my order status says Sept 24.
