Carrier AT&T Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

How great was it to wake up this morning to three emails from AT&T saying all three 256gb Silver X’s were on their way??

Pretty great, haha!! :D

Interestingly, one is coming via UPS and two are coming via FedEx.

This really is the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, haha!!

Does UPS give you a tracking map? I think that's what I like about FedEx better. More detailed/useful information and I think you can even locate individual trucks on their routes.
 
Mine was still In Progress when I went to bed last night, woke up to shipped this morning! It must have skipped the Preparing to Ship option, which had me worried for a few days.

This is how it is for AT&T every year. Since 3GS, if not earlier. There is absolutely zero deviation from this. Every year, the same thing.

i had a ship date of 11/2-11/10, with preparing to ship for 3 days and a cancel button up until 1am this morning EST

got my email this morning i will be getting my phone on launch day

Got my fedex tracking information in the form of an email from att at 2:10am eastern time this morning. Shows it will be delivered tomorrow.

I had my UPS ordered changed to hold at distribution center. Did it on line with no problem. 64 silver

Mine was picked up 10/29 in Forth Worth and arrived in Memphis this morning. I’m in middle TN so it’s getting close. Only thing I’m worried about now is the tracking says delivered by 4:30 PM. I have to leave for work by no later than 4.

First world problems. ‍♂️

Yeah, mine never even went to Preparing to Ship, it was In Progress the whole time, including when I checked last night. Woke up to Shipped this morning, so he was dead wrong.

Wow. I ordered in store on 10/27 around 9:15 am EST and was given 11/2-11/10 ship date. Still showing "in progress" for me with those dates. You got lucky!

I just called UPS and they told me the driver will not leave a package if and when they suspect it has a cellphone inside. Of course they know this by looking at the shipper's name on the label. So the UPS rep told me the only option is to have them hold the package at the local shipping hub which is like an hour from my house.

Wonderful news.....

Semi off topic:

The process is really easy. When the Xbox One launched, I ordered from Amazon and it was scheduled to be delivered on launch day between 6-8 PM. I went online and had it held at the closest UPS facility and picked it up around 7 AM. Ended up being a pretty great day. My friend that went with me randomly found a launch XB1 at Toys R Us. He called and they said they had 2 in stock. We whipped the car around through an Olive Garden parking lot. We ended up getting out of the car and literally taking off running. We went back and he saw they had one ticket left and grabbed it up like he just won a golden ticket to visit Mr Wonka. Great day.

TLDR
UPS hold for pickup is fast and easy.

Mine did the same thing? Shipping early this morning EST AM and Paid in full on my credit card. Temporary charge from Friday until last night and now this morning it fell off?

My tax charge on AT&T Next fell off this morning. Still hasnt shipped though.
 
Seems like majority of the people who got a 256GB Siliver...got their devices shipped

I ordered a 64GB Space Gray...and it's still on the "In progress" status. but has Delivery date of Nov. 3

I chatted with ATT 4 times now, and they all said it will be here tomorrow...starting to doubt it at this point.
 
I think someone mentioned this a while back but did anyone else who got the order sent via Fedex from Texas who has a Fedex account not get a Fedex Alert? The address looks right in the ATT system but I never got the Fedex notification. The tracking looks normal.
 
i have a question. i have the nov 2-10th delivery date. i see others shipping and even a dec delivery that shipped. i called this morning and said it won't ship till i agree to terms and conditions. i figured that was bull. called back and this girl said i did when i prdred on 27th. did anyone have to accept terms and conditions after they placed the order on a next program? i'm all confused now.

i ordered a SG 64gb.

i find it so weird that a dec would also ship before the nov ones? so random.

What a debocle this has been dealing with ATT. I have had such the run around and actually got in contact with the President of ATT over it all. I am asured by management my order is fine the whole time, but notifications there are issues on my acct and be ecommerce support.
Order currently still shows In Progress, no tracking info sent, but shows a delivery date as tomorrow this whole time. Im so done with this and just sticking with my old phone if it doesnt come tomorrow. So much for paying for the 12 month upgrade on Next :(

Mine actually says 11/3. It did the whole time. I dont get it. Their systems are soo screwed up over there right now. Im pissed if I took the day off for nothing. Still not auth on my acct either for the taxes

Got the FedEx shipping text this morning at 6:03a PT (California). On the FedEx website is shows that it has been at the FedEx facility in Fort Worth Tx since Monday. Delivery tomorrow by 8pm!!
(Ordered 10/27 @ 1226am, 2 SG/64gb and 1 SG/256 gb).
