Ordered SG 256GB on 10/27 at 9:21am ET. Premier order with estimated ship dates of 12-4 to 12-18. It has been sitting at Preparing to ship since the beginning. I don't ever think I am going to get my phone,
And AT&T is quoting nearly the same ship dates (Dec 12-19) for phones ordered today with the same config as those of us that have been sitting with "In progress" for nearly 3 weeks now. So another 3-4 weeks from now when Apple is only quoting 2-3.

I am going to guess they may ship 1 week earlier than they quote but I wouldn't bet on much earlier given what I've seen so far.
 
I was told by a rep, so of course this may or may not be true but he was adamant, that AT&T is awaiting a huge shipment from Apple, which will allow them to first satisfy the pre-orders, but also soon after fill many new orders. This is why we are seeing shorter wait times. But I was assured pre-orders come first. We shall see. Mine is supposed to be arriving today. I am tracking the only Overnight FedEx delivery to my town from Memphis. Talk about a watched pot!
 
My 11/9 order of a SG64 had an original ship date of 12/1 to 12/8. I received and e-mail yesterday afternoon that they were able to move it up to 11/16-11/24. The order page didn't update until overnight and still shows "In Progress". Hopefully it ships today with arrival tomorrow as I shipped mine to my office. My luck is it will ship with a scheduled delivery of Friday when the office is closed.

Interesting. I ordered 11/9 SG64.. original shipping time frame was 11/29-12/6. That didn’t change, but yesterday it went from in progress to preparing to ship (also says backordered when checking in phone) Although we haven’t had to wait very long, still hope this means we are getting phones by Thursday.
 
I ordered 5 phones through Premier (256GB SG) on 11/7 through my rep. Original shipping date was 12/13-12/20. The following Friday the shipping date was updated to 12/6-12/13.... but all phones shipped on Sunday and I'll have them (mine is all that matters) tomorrow! :)

Yep. If you’re an Apple IUP or carrier Premier business client you are definitely getting special treatment (which I understand and agree with).

What the hell..... that is total B.S.... i am certainly happy for you.... but I ACTUALLY pre-ordered a 256GB SG on 10/27 with ATT Premier as well, and yours just shipped for an order made 12 days later on 11/7.... that is messed up... completely unfair at all.

Mine still shows in progress, estimated ship date 12/4 - 12/18 on the ATT order page.

Wow. That IS weird. You must’ve ordered pretty late on 10/27.. to get that ship window. But still - even later orders with Premier shouldn’t be getting their phones before you. You should call ATT and raise the roof.

Nope. Premier business ordered phones at 3:34am ET on 10/27 and still waiting....I still think grandfathered phones are getting slipped back in favor of full price sales. Strangely however we got one single SG256 last week from the order.

Just got my shipping notification. Sorry to rub it in the pre-order guys' faces, just trying to help with providing info. Shipped today, arriving tomorrow FedEx.

I would be willing to guess that there is some fluke in the AT&T system that is holding these orders from getting fulfilled before their estimated ship date - or worse. It will be interesting to see if they actually ship or if a bunch of the orders placed during the pre-order remain stuck in the system. It seems like everyone, myself included, who ordered after the initial launch are receiving their iPhone X's within 10-15 days from date of order.

I can't believe your order hasn't been moved up.

I tried to order on 10/27 but it wouldn't go through due to some glitch (the phone I paid off a week earlier still wouldn't allow an upgrade). So I had to go into a corp AT&T store the next day to place the order (and not a happy puppy). My ship window was 12/4/2017 to 12/18/2017. But it was moved up twice and I got my X a week ago (11/14).

What config was your order? 256/SG are the ones they are having the most trouble fulfilling. The Silvers in both configs are much more available it appears. I wonder if most of the problems are the 256/SG, that is what I have ordered as well.

What config was your order? 256/SG are the ones they are having the most trouble fulfilling. The Silvers in both configs are much more available it appears. I wonder if most of the problems are the 256/SG, that is what I have ordered as well.

Are you premier or something? I ordered that phone on 11/1 and my ship date of 11/3- to 12/5 hasn't budged.

Dude, Premier is a liability with these orders. Grandfathered pricing Premier is a double-whammy. Be glad you are not Premier - we'll be lucky to see our phones before Santa slides his butt down our fireplaces.

Geez, I ordered on preorder night at 3:11 am and somehow the phone order was not valid although I had an order number etc. So I cancelled and through talking to no-nothing ATT CSRs I cancelled another order. Finally got an order to stick on the 29th and I've been stuck on a 12/4-12/18 est ship date.
 
Another indication of ATT’s stupidity. I have an actual tracking number for my phone. It is very clearly going to be deliver tomorrow, yet on the website it was from shipped (with a tracking number), back to preparing to ship. I’m not worried since I have a tracking number, but clearly their site is not very accurate.

Exceptions to every rule. The general ‘rule’ with the data I’ve been keeping from here is Premier people first.
