UPDATE: I just received an email from
ATTOrderStatus@ordertrack.wireless.att-mail.com with an update that reads...
“Great news, your order is on the way! Check out the order summary below for tracking details and information to help you start enjoying your purchase when it arrives”.
The tracking is showing delivery via FedEx (I chose that option at order) by this Friday the 24th.
I originally ordered 10/27/2017 at 2:32:04 p.pm ET via the ATT Business Premiere site via phone with a business representative as my account was not allowing me to place the order via Apple directly, due to having a business account. The 256G S was originally set for delivery estimate of 12/4 to 12/11 and never received an update checking daily via the email confirmation that linked to the order status page.
The order status page would constantly show the “Preparing to Ship” status from day one, although it was never really preparing. When entering the PO or order number manually, it would show an entirely different status such as “In Progress” or today it was showing “Backordered”. So to everyone that is continuously checking the order status, dont fret with the actual status, as it appears to be erroneous even to the effect of updates or contacting support for updates.
PS, I also ordered a SG 64G just yesterday 11/21 and with ship estimates being the last week of November. Which would have been before my 256 S ordered 10/27. If not for the sudden change to shipment today, I would have received it after the 2nd order made weeks later.
