Yep, 256 SG orders on 11/27 at 3:31am on the Premier website. Still "preparing to ship" with a 12/4-12/18 estimate as of this morning (11/27).

Should I even waste my time calling Premier support and asking? Can they even do anything about it? Since it's not even 12/4 yet, I fully expect them to tell me to keep waiting...

I bet they fulfill orders at different times based on what part of the country you live in.

I doubt their system is set up to ship differently based upon customer location - that would make no sense. The fundamentals of an order processing system should take into consideration 1. customer importance (Premier vs standard), 2. order date, 3. product availability. The thing that suggests something went wrong in their system is that orders placed first do not seem to be getting fulfilled before other orders placed later - and in many cases it appears that Premier customers are getting put behind standard customers.

Considering for example that all FedEx shipments go through Memphis or other central hubs, geography is irrelevant these days for overnight services.
 
@ebelp there is no point in calling. They only have the same information that you can see on the ATT order status page. I ordered on 10/27 at 9:21 ET for the SG 256GB also through premier (I cringe at the irony whenever I type "premier". My experience has been anything but premier.)

Hoping we will have our phones this week. I checked this morning and no updates yet.

Hopefully the excuses can stop. Every rep you talk to has the same excuse "Apple hasn't given us any stock". Best buy has them I've seen in some stores. This whole pre-order has been a fiasco on AT&T. It's too bad Apple doesn't run their own mobile network and we wouldnt need the carriers anymore! If it had been up to Jobs, he would have done it.

So all my Apple stores have the SG 256 and Best Buy too. I guess I expected to see an email saying my phones were on their way. Does AT&T have a grudge against Premier customers who ordered early on preorder day?

I am wondering the same. It did appear that Apple was delaying even Apple.com shipments over the last several days to ensure that stores had stock over BF week. From AT&T Website, they are showing 256GB SG out 3-4 weeks for orders placed today. Apple showing 1-2 weeks for shipping orders. Of course, AT&T continues to blame Apple for the lack of stock. I'm sure there is an internal memo to people to keep blaming them!

Is there anyone on this thread that is a non-Premier (Business) order from 10/27-11/3 that is still waiting?
 
Cancelled my order and picking up today at an Apple store. Just waiting on a pick up confirmation. 256 Silver.

You were a non-Premier order correct? Makes total sense, I saw a lot on the AT&T Community forums cancelling orders as they hadnt seen any movement since pre-order either. A few ordering 64GB silver configs did get shipping and some others getting 256GB silvers here and there. If you have Apple stores nearby, easier just to pick it up than deal with another 2-3 weeks plus waiting with no answer from aT&T.

Correct. Between the bad info from AT&T about cancelling orders and waiting a month for some change in my order, I said screw it when I noticed that an Apple store close to me had it in stock.

I think the issue that most of the outstanding "Premier" orders have is that we get a discount on the hardware by ordering it that way. I know I would have canceled and purchased through apple two weeks ago if it weren't for the discount.

If you could switch from business to personal and maintain the discount that would be a great trick.

One can easily move their number out of a corporate responsibility plan back to personal responsibility. However, my company pays for my monthly bill, so I never see the bill. Some companies have grandfathered pricing under a 2 year deal so it makes the X significantly cheaper for some (some here get no discounts).

I can understand the carriers are now getting inventory much slower than Apple direct. That is the way it is heading, more Apple stores out there and more retailers like Target, BB, etc wanting to carry product there is only so much supply and Apple is getting it to their flagships quicker. I am just surprised that the carrier inventory is still constrained this much with Apple now quoting 1-2 weeks.
 
Just got it man this so fire , the notch is noticeable so I care nope, coming from a 7 plus this the perfect size and control center location not bad at all, True Tone idk I like blue screens . The feel of the phone overall is super nice . Face ID is awesome sometimes I don’t even feel like I’m using it and it’s there

How long it took you to get the phone since the moment that you ordered?
 
I am expecting my phone when finally shipped someday will come wrapped in custom woven silk, encased in a molded case and having been disassembled and reassembled piece by piece for quality control.

I mean why else would it say "Preparing to Ship" for 3 weeks?

My friendly AT&T CSR was trying to convince me that my SG/256GB was shipping from the moon of Pandora and it would be built with unobtainum and hand assembled by the Na'vi which is why it is taking so long. Rest assured, its currently Preparing to Ship and I should have it by the year 2087 :)

Has anyone seen any progress changes on the ATT order page this week for iPhone X orders? Also, specifically pertaining to the 256GB space grey version that I have, any updates on progress on this one this week?

I ordered 10/27. 8:18am Eastern time and am still waiting in in progress, as the below picture shows.

I figured I might get an update this week but nothing yet..... it feels so close yet so far... I also think it's horrible for a company such as AT&T to only be able to provide an estimated 2 week window, as the below shows, December 4th - 18th with it 6 days before the date.... Like you literally can't give me anything more definitive than 2 weeks with 6 days before the window?????!!!!! this is such Bologna its not even funny

I am having a bad feeling that we won't be getting them at the beginning of our estimated shipping window. Everytime I see a commercial on tv for the Iphone X I get so miffed that we have our hands tied on this situation.

Also plasticsboss24 I see your order number begins in 10- for premier mine is 41-. Just curious what the other Premier people still waiting what their order number first two digits are?

Mine starts with 40. Ordered 10/27 at 3:34am. SG256.

Mine starts at 22- Premier customer ordered 11/5 256 Silver. Been sitting on Dec 4-11 from the beginning.

Has anyone seen any in an AT&T store? I do not have any Apple stores where I live.

I ordered 11/3, est ship dates Dec 11-18. Still showing "In Progress", no change in status.
