I too ordered thru Premier on 10/27 at 6:13 am ET a SG 256 and paid full price - actually I ordered 2. There hasn't been an movement since the day I ordered.

At this point, you might be better off looking for one in-store and canceling the order. Sounds like your order is one that got stuck in limbo. Perhaps give AT&T a call to see if they can give any update - other than the standard "We're waiting for a big shipment from Apple BS..."

I did call Premier CS and they stated that Apple gets their alloted amount, AT&T gets their alloted amount (which we can't get from) and Premier Business has a warehouse and we can only get from their alloted amounts. Then he slipped and said people that purchased later than the preorder date have to wait since they waited to order. Then I said but I ordered on the preorder date of 10/27. The Rep then said yes but you waited 3 hours into the preorder so you will have to wait your turn till they get to you. You can cancel you order but won't be able to purchase from the Apple Store or directly from AT&T store. So what would you like to do?

My wife and I ordered 2 SG 256s in an ATT store (we live in a state without any apple stores) on 11/4 and have seen no movement since. My sister-in-law ordered the same phone, a SG 256, on 11/16 online through ATT and received her phone yesterday. How can ATT think this is ok?

Well the customer service representative isn’t really telling you the whole story. You certainly can go ahead and order from the Apple store or AT&T but you’ll have to order it on a new phone number. Walk in - buy your phone on a new number (added to your account) at any store that has stock in the area… And before you turn on your new phone take your SIM card out of your current phone and put it into that new phone. You don’t want to turn on the new phone with the new Sim and activate the new number to it. You want the new phone number to never get activated and be using your current SIM.

Now -you have your phone!!… All you’re waiting is over… Then you just have a technical headache on your hands, and it has a headache, to get that new number you added to your account taken off your acct - somewhere between 5-10 days after you do all this. You can even pay for the new line thru one billing cycle then cancel.

Trust me. It’ll work. I did it two years ago.

"Have to wait" - Um, we have been waiting, coming up on 5-6 weeks now. Its not like this was done last week.

Worse customer service ever. Premier CSR rep said my phone is still in the system, but it was separated from the other phones on the 10/27 order (delivered already). Said this "happened to a lot of people", but good news is my order is still in the system. Hah. Will recommend our company move to a carrier with a 21st century order system and real customer service.
 
Ordered 11/3 in an authorized AT&T store. Original shipping date was 12/11-12/26, then changed to 12/11-12/18. Just got the email it shipped this morning. Hoping to have it by Saturday, but I’m not holding my breath.

It's really starting to look like many of us who pre-ordered on 10/27 or similar and received the same estimated ship date or similar to me (dec. 4th - 18th) may not be getting their iphone x at the beginning of the estimate. Fingers still crossed but with it still showing as in progress I doubt I will get it even next week. Our orders seem to be in some black hole in space time continuum

Thats such trash... 6 days later... i am so sick of seeing people who ordered after me getting updates. There is something seriously wrong with AT&T's system and anyone you get a hold of at AT&T will not acknowledge that something is wrong

I need to stop coming in here and checking this thread. It just makes me angry. However, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's still waiting.

I don't doubt that AT&T has been in the position of not getting enough stock to satisfy demand, but if their system is set up so that they can't adjust their own inventory to take care of oldest orders first, regardless of whether it is Premier or standard, then there is something really wrong with how they've got things set up.

It's even worse if their Premier customers are waiting while standard customers are getting product delivered that was ordered after the pre-order, which is what I believe we're seeing here. The question to ask AT&T is what's the point in being a Premier customer if you're not given priority over standard customers?

Seems like you're missing the point. The issue isn't that the phones haven't arrived. The problem is AT&T isn't fulfilling orders in the order they were received. Regular AT&T orders are getting filled before AT&T Premier customers, even if Premier people ordered before those people.

What is the estimated delivery date of your phone when you first pre ordered?
 
The question to ask AT&T is what's the point in being a Premier customer if you're not given priority over standard customers?

I could be wrong, but I thought being a "Premier" customer just meant you had a business account and a regular AT&T customer is a personal account. I'm unaware of any sales perks associated with having a Premier account with AT&T.

I am on my employer's plan... I don't really have that liberty as they are paying for my iPhone lol... If I had the ability I would switch. But good point. I'm just the type of person that hates waiting and can acknowledge I am a tech geek especially for Apple stuff. I like to have the latest iPhone and tbh my current iPhone 6 Plus is now glaringly annoying to use. The touch screen has become very unresponsive and not accurate anymore. It is as if apple makes the iphones slower over time with updates, but it is almost 3 years old now. I just want a new iphone, and the iphone X does look sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.... i just want it in my hands lol but i am impatient

I recognize there is likely no difference, other than business vs personal account, but the naming convention of Premier suggests there is something more and I know, given my own experience with a Premier account, that they do in fact sell the Premier line as being something more than a standard consumer account.

Sorry I meant pre order day. I ordered it 7am est the day pre orders went live. So 4 hours after pre orders opened.
 
For what it's worth...AT&T hasn't updated my order on their website. Wouldn't have known any movement had occurred without a tracking email.

I just checked and I suddenly moved to a Preparing to Ship status. I would expect other premier customers may start seeing movement. I have been on In Progress since the start
 
I am hoping we start seeing some movement. The beginning of my ship estimates starts on Monday. It doesn't end until 12/18. So if they don't move my shipping estimates out I only have a max of two more weeks to wait.

I am almost expecting to get an update on Monday saying that the phone will be here next year. Let's hope not.
