Had my first email (att site preorder) come in ASAP and my second email at 7:09am.
Space gray 64gb

Placed my order at 2:65am

I only got one email from AT&T. It confirmed the order and gave a link, but nowhere does it show the order details other than iPhone X. I called and they were able to confirm the details, but I found it a bit strange. I also wasn't charged via a CC for the tax etc, but I assume they are just going to add it to my AT&T bill, is that right?

I also have a second item that says "Unavailable". I ordered AC+ so maybe it's that? Does anyone else have that in their order?

HELP!

Through AT&T website:

My first order at 2:15 AM gave an order number and I go got the email saying it's shipping.

My 2nd order (my wife's) at 2:19 AM gave an order number and I HAVE NO EMAIL about shipping. I called AT&T and they can't find my order number at all. I try it myself and nothing. So basically I have no order even though I have an order number. AT&T is supposed to call me back sometime today after research.

Is there anything I can do? Another number to call to escalate this?

Wait -- there's a 2nd confirmation email? Or is this just for a 2nd phone?

A second confirmation email that says "We're good to go!" or something like that. I received it about 2.5 hours after the first email. It's also more detailed than the first email, which only said that I ordered two iPhone X's. This second email says the color and storage.

I too have another item listed below my iPhone X that says NOT_AVAILABLE. Is this what you're referring to? It has me kind of nervous.

Word...
I didn't get those yet, but I confirmed with them via phone and chat and they said I should be good to go.

I got that email about 3 1/2 hours after I ordered.

Yea, that's exactly what I'm referring to. Did you buy AppleCare +? I did and I'm thinking it's that. My only other thought is that I'm on the Next plan and am trading in my phone and so maybe that's the other item?

I have this as well on the order where I’m doing a device trade in. On the other line that didn’t require a trade in it only shows the one phone. So I’m guessing it only applies to orders that have a trade in.

I ordered a 64gb SG IPX at 2:57 am from AT&T's site. I received the first email, but have not received the second yet...I also see the NOT AVAILABLE item online. Hopefully, everthing works out.

Hmmmm - I ordered over 6 hours ago and still haven't gotten that second email. That's the one I'm looking for because the email I got doesn't give any detail other than say it's an iPhone X. Hopefully I'll get that one soon. Anyone else waiting for the second email?

That makes sense bc I have it and also have a trade in. I still may buy my old phone though and not trade in - assume I can still do that?

It may just be taking time for them to process everything.

The ATT chat dude told me that I should be receiving it in the next 3-4 hours. They're crazy backed up.

I have a hold on my credit card for the tax for the phone, about 5--10 minutes after placing the order. In Illinois, it came out to $65.

I still can't believe I ended up with a release day arrival date, considering my initial session on the AT&T website refreshed on its own to 1 minute, then 16 minutes to get in; my second window worked well, however -- order placed at 2:06 am CT.

Looks like dates on AT&T slipped again. Dec 4-18 for Space Gray 64GB and 256GB. And Nov 2-10 for Silver 64GB and 256GB.

Has me really thinking I will get mine on launch day now

When I ordered AT&T didn't ask for a CC and there is no hold. I assume they are just going to add the charge to my AT&T account, but I'm not sure. Others: Were you asked for a CC during the ordering process?

Man screw the IUP. I was previously enrolled and there were all sorts of issues trying to re-enroll and start a new loan. I literally gave up.

Decided to check what AT&T Next actually is and went through the upgrade device process through my profile. Boom, done. No unnecessary credit inquiries, no delays. My order is confirmed for my Silver 256GB with Nov 2-10 delivery date, and the AT&T rep said she saw my order would ship on 11/3.

Yes, 2 different emails. 1st was "we have your order"... and the 2nd was "We are good to go, here are the details...."

I’ve only received the “we have your order.” I’m still waiting on that second one. Does the second one give you the option to cancel on the email?

Yes. The second one gives me the option to cancel my order.

I should say, I updated my payment details to add a CC just in case (prior to the site going live for ordering) -- it chose the CC in the checkout process, and I didn't want to waste time to direct it to my AT&T account.
