Edit: For what it's worth, I've found that Amazon gives the best value of the "trade in" type sites. For my unlocked iPhone 6 (grey, 64gb), Amazon is offering $140, vs. more like $120-$125 at AT&T, Gazelle, Best Buy, etc. Apple would give me $145 but I'd rather have the credit at Amazon than the Apple Store.

Wish I knew if ATT puts the upgrade back on the account right away after cancelling. Have a reservation with apple.com for Nov 3 but wont let me order it using Next since i have this open AT&T order. Reservation expires at noon tomorrow!

I was just on the line with AT&T and they have confirmed I would be getting it by 11/3. any chance I will get the text/sms confirmation today or will it just be on Monday instead ...

Sorry if this has been mentioned before. Just spoke to an att customer service rep via live chat who claimed the off contract iphone x's purchased at full price can only be unlocked after a month. Is this correct? Seems ridiculous to me.

Same thing with me. I missed it because it was preset to 30 months...the option to change was there in small blue print under the big 30. When I did my second order and took my time, I noticed it.I don’t remember either. It was almost an hour into trying and at that point I don’t know if I overlooked or didn’t have the option. I will do the same. I don’t want to mess with anything right now. Will pay it off if I can’t make the change.
