just got my second email for my second order ( 256 Silver 12:15PST) - no date range.. just expected delivery 11/3


so both of my orders are now "we're good to go" expected delivery 11/3
Looks like that's the best you can get for now.
 
I still have to change it to the Next every year plan...for whatever reason it wasn't available last night and or I didn't see it
 
I thought that there was a special of $200 , not up to $200. Looks like its regular trade in pricing and no promo.

Edit: For what it's worth, I've found that Amazon gives the best value of the "trade in" type sites. For my unlocked iPhone 6 (grey, 64gb), Amazon is offering $140, vs. more like $120-$125 at AT&T, Gazelle, Best Buy, etc. Apple would give me $145 but I'd rather have the credit at Amazon than the Apple Store.

Conversely, I spend easily over $200 on cases, skins and screen protectors. This time I’m buying Apple care plus and going naked or a clear skin at most.
 
Wish I knew if ATT puts the upgrade back on the account right away after cancelling. Have a reservation with apple.com for Nov 3 but wont let me order it using Next since i have this open AT&T order. Reservation expires at noon tomorrow!

If you call the toll free number they can confirm that the upgrade is reset. I’ve done it a few times. Or 611 from your att device.
 
Sorry if this has been mentioned before. Just spoke to an att customer service rep via live chat who claimed the off contract iphone x's purchased at full price can only be unlocked after a month. Is this correct? Seems ridiculous to me.

I was just on the line with AT&T and they have confirmed I would be getting it by 11/3. any chance I will get the text/sms confirmation today or will it just be on Monday instead ...

I haven’t gotten it eiether. 2 emails (one at order, a second 4 hours later). No text.

Pretty much all phones are unlocked these days. Once they started making us pay full price for phones there was no reason really to keep them locked anymore. At least I know any carrier phone you buy through the Apple Store app comes to you unlocked simply with a Sim in it for your carrier. So my AT&T phone I ordered from the App Store app last night will come to me unlocked with an AT&T Sim in it - even if I'm on a payment plan for the phone.

I didn't get the text either but I got the two e-mails. Order Status still shows on target so I am not too worried about a text. It may have gone to my landline or some stupid thing like that.
 
Ordered 3 of them through my corporate AT&T rep and she said she would put them in as soon as humanly possible. Dec 4 at earliest says my confirmation email. Ill be getting another confirmation with a clearer picture I think.
 
I don’t remember either. It was almost an hour into trying and at that point I don’t know if I overlooked or didn’t have the option. I will do the same. I don’t want to mess with anything right now. Will pay it off if I can’t make the change.
Same thing with me. I missed it because it was preset to 30 months...the option to change was there in small blue print under the big 30. When I did my second order and took my time, I noticed it.

After you activate, you can have them change it to next every year. It's just a hassle to call or visit a store.

I ordered silver 256. I didn’t get my order in until around 10am EST
 
Still haven't received the 2nd email but I spoke to someone in the at&t chat who seemed to indicate that the order was fine. Guess I will wait and see what actually happens.

Same here. Still waiting for that second email. Also spoke with a rep. He said not to worry. Ah well, there's nothing we can do :)
