Mine also said taxes will be added to monthly bill. I have autopay enabled. Still at processing...
I am wondering if the people that got preparing to ship already depends on where you are located and where it is coming from.
x:02am order, Nov 3rd delivery date on 2 Silver 64gb. Still shows "In Process", so hopefully that changes today.
I had to call ATT yesterday. I woke up, ordered and had to wait TWICE in line, then finally got through at 4am. Ok no problem. The ATT app promtped an alert saying "Dont want your ordered cancelled? call 800" blah blah. I chatted with a rep twice, they assured me my order was fine. At first she couldn't even find my order, and so after a while she said most people were receiving this alert by mistake and to ignore it. I said the LAST THING I want to do is cancel. We shall see 256g SG NOV2-11 ship estimate
Seems to me it's probably by model ordered. But I could be wrong.
Did you get a second e-mail with the 3rd date already? Or was the change the second e-mail?
I'm in the same boat. Original email stated by Nov 3rd, site still says "In Progress" delivery by date: Nov 3rd, but 2nd email states expected shipment date of 12/4-12/18.
That's why I went through AT&T too. They seemed to be running ok and still had delivery dates of 11/3.
I would think the second e-mail is sent after an inventory check. But it is strange your status didn't change along with the e-mail. I don't usually advocate calling, but since there is such a big discrepancy, maybe you should to see what's up.

I ordered one of each model, and they all say Preparing to Ship. Ordered via the app before 3:10 EDT, two emails, no texts.
No, the Premier website still shows in progress with same Nov 3 date. The email update this morning also showed a new order number.

For the record I do not have a card on file. Only a bank account linked and I do not participate in autopay.
att uses USPS to send phones to PR. This is my 4th order and they always shipped them via USPS. I live in PR by the way. Fingers crossed.
I set up 6 devices, some on WiFi and some on cellular, each dedicated to a separate website for pre order. Apple, AT&T, Best Buy, Target, Apple Store App, and Verizon. At 11:30, I began refreshing constantly in an effort to proceed with the first website with pre order availability. To my surprise, I was let into AT&T at 11:52 and had my order completed and submitted to them successfully at 11:53. Immediately got an email and then another one 5 hours later guaranteeing delivery by 11/3. Never received a text message. AT&T order status now listed as “Preparing to Ship”.
Check my order status page (AT&T website) says In progress with delivery by 11/3. Yet I just realized they sent me the “we’re good to go!” email yesterday (10/27) at 11am eastern time/8am pacific time and it said the expected shipping date was between 12/4 and 12/18. Check my order still says delivery by 11/3 and in progress. Anyone in the same boat?
