Later found out Amex flagged it as fraud, even though I called them a few hour prior telling them what was going to happen. Ugh.

What configuration if you don’t mind me asking? I got order confirmation at 3:07am and still in progress for memy 12:11 order just went to prepared for shipment.
I typically don’t preorder and instead prefer to camp the ATT store the night before. Since the launch into November (it gets butt ass cold here) I chose to preorder for the first time.
Tried Apple and ATT apps on 5 endpoints (apps, PC, Mac, and tablets). Apple Store never showed up, but my Mac got right into ATTs queue at 12:01am. Ended up with some kind of error in Safari about too many redirects so lost that queue.
On my PC I finally got into ATT and placed an upgrade for 3 lines (2x SG256 1x S256). Orders placed at 12:19, 12:22, and 12:29. I got an email for each order and the 5am email if You’re good to go with 11/3 dates. I just checked my order status on the ATT app and the 2 SG256 (ordered at 12:22 and 12:29) are preparing to ship, but the 1 S256 placed at 12:19 is still processing.
Yup, my first one has it on the bill and is preparing to ship, as is my second one which I paid for with CC while checking out. Insane issues with CC tho, NONE of them were working (working everywhere else) at that time, had to use a debit card. Same here. Had my SG 256 ordered at 3:11 and my wife’s Silver 256 ordered at 3:13. Both at a Nov. 3 delivery date. Both order emails out instantly and then a 6 AM or so email that my wife’s phone was all set. I logged onto the AT&T app ane there was this strange message alert that read “Don’t want your order cancelled?” and a number. When I called no one at AT&T could tell me why the order was not going to ship even though I had an order number and it was showing as an order on my account. Two plus hours on the phone and endless chats I ended up reordering at 11:30 AM and getting another Silver 256 instead of the SG. It still had a Nov 2-10 ship date unlike the December SG dates. Plus I figured I’d been in space for a long time and why not change it up.No white bezel made the change easier.
Anyway, every year it’s the same thing with AT&T. Really annoying.

Wow that’s sucks! I had that issue with Capital One! I wonder why some orders are asking for CC info and others are being billed to the account?
