Carrier AT&T Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

The ATT iPhones are already in the US. They will ship Next Day Air (usually FedEx) by Thursday. If you have a FedEx online account you'll get a notification when they create the shipping label.
I ordered the silver 256. Just checked and still no movement. Wondering if I should call and check?
UPDATE: It's preparing to ship!! So excited!!

My order switched to Preparing to ship sometime last night.

I ordered two 256 Silvers.
One order still shows Processing, and has a Nov 3 delivery date.
The other order is Preparing to ship, with a December 4-18 ship date...
I even got the “Good News! Your order is almost ready to ship” text message for the order with the December ship date.

I ordered a 256GB Silver as well around 4:35am and woke up this morning to a preparing for shipment update as well!!
Well damn. I ordered two 64GB Silver at 3:02am Eastern, and it's still showing as In Progress. And when I do *6737#, it says the order is backordered. I haven't gotten any alerts or anything that is been cancelled or there was something wrong with the order, so I'm not sure what's going on. I'd try the chat, but I have a feeling those people don't really know what they're talking about. Does anyone know who to contact to get an actual update on the order?
From what I’ve been reading online and on these forums, being “backordered” is apparently a good thing.
Sprint has shipped and so has Verizon. I’d be surprised if we didn’t get some kind of notification today or tomorrow indicating shipment.

Really don't know what is going on. Feeling discouraged I wont get it on Friday. I'm seeing 4:00am-5:30am eastern time orders going to preparing for shipping.

Don’t lose hope! Most carrier phones are in the US. If you’re located anywhere near PA, you are more than fine.

Does anyone know if you can add on AppleCare + to your AT&T order even if you didn't initially order it on pre-order night?
Ive gotten both emails and the text as well. The cancel option is also gone when i check the AT&T my order, however, the status still shows in progress. I chatted with a rep and using my order number he told me i'd receive an email for shipment by today and also let me know that the ship date is 11/2 and delivery date is 11/3.
I will be adding this to my phone as well. Way to expensive not to have it.... Just in case...
Maybe after model type they do orders by regions or something. Whatever they do, it doesn't seem to be in the order they were entered.
3rd order after they canceled my 2 previous ones is now pending. at&t really must not want me to have this phone
I had the same thing happen when I called today. He said there's nothing that looks like it would stop it from shipping on the 2nd and arriving on the 3rd, even though the status still says In Progress. I asked why mine was still in progress even though I ordered at 3:02am eastern, and people who ordered much later have already went to Preparing to Ship. He couldn't really give me an answer to that, other than saying everything looked fine and he doesn't expect any problems.
