Yes mined has moved to preparing to ship on Sunday. I ordered around 1:30 pm eastern time on Friday. It has a shipping date of between 11/2-11/10

The web status should be "prepared to ship" for now. I never bother to check the status by phone.
i was in the prepare to ship mode for almost two days and now went to backordered, smh
I have the same order time as you, 302 AM EST time still says NOVEMBER 3 delivery date. From the look of all these pre orders I haven't seen any at all before 302 am. Mostly all over them are after 315-5am
i have a shipping date of 11/2- 11/10 and I'm still in progress silver 256 I just spent an hour on the phone with them and they said its back ordered if we don't get a shipping info by Thursday we shouldn't expect it for 11/3
Spoke to someone yesterday and she stated..
"Worst case you will have your phone by 11/13. If it ships 11/10 with 2-3 day transit. If it ships 11/2 figure delivery on 11/6. BUT if it ships 11/2, theres also still a chance it could deliver on 11/3 depending on the carrier used". So while there was no actual answer, it wasn't necessarily bad news.

From when I've ordered from them in the past they required a signature. That may be because of where I live though.
That means your iPhone is being shipped. Going into backorder status usually means that it is actually shipping. I remember that being a big deal when the iPhone 7 was released last year.
I ordered my 256 GB Silver iPhone X at 7:59 AM ET. Mine is still "In progress". The temp tax charge has fallen off my credit card. My ship date is 11/2-11/10.

In the sense if it’s an AT&T phone... yes! Honestly not sure, I ordered one through AT&T and two through Apple using the carrier upgrade.
I think not looking good for those of us with have 11/2-11/10 dates which still "In Progress", to get on Friday. I talked ATT and they said wait 48 hours to see if tracking number but they see nothing on there end.
I am showing an 11/3 delivery date for my 64SG but interestingly the sales tax charge has fallen off for me as well. I have been in preparing to ship and "delivers by 11/3" since Saturday. Maybe they hit the card again when it ships? Weird.
