Carrier AT&T Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

Sorry meant to type the 6th, as that was what I was told. Also told 2 business days to ship so if they overnight, maybe I’ll get on the 3rd.
As has been stated many times in this thread, they ship next day air via FedEx. You will not get anything until Thursday most likely.
Maybe we could even get everyone to agree that 256gb is the standard device we are talking about and only note when a 64gb is in discussion.
Would cut down on excessive listings.
which model did you order? was your status 'preparing to ship' before it became backordered?
My status for TWO days was prepare to ship, iphone x 128gb silver ordered at 0430 on October 27
I ordered an iPhone X (Silver 256gb) on 10/27 at 01:54am CST through AT&T. Shows delivery by 11/03 and I'm still in the preparing for shipment. :-/
Ahhh, I placed mine at 6:40am I hope they don’t send me to the backorder purgatory
ecom reprocessed a canceled order ? I was told that once order is canceled they cannot reprocess it. only way to do it is to place a new order. what did you say to get it reprocessed?

You'll be fine. ATT has a couple of different order management systems and backorder is actually a good step. You'll have your phone on Friday.
Most people don't actually try to read the forums though, they just come here to complain and look for answers to their "problems"
For shipping threads, each page should have a sticky post at the top. On every page the same questions are asked. That would help. Though ATT doesn't do itself any favors by having a zillion ways to look up your order.
It happened last year for Iphone 7 plus, hope it happens this time too! Even my order status is the same at this point.. fingers crossed!

I hope you get your phones but I wonder if AT&T has been doing this to reprocess some orders that may have been completed before yours, but then cancelled inexplicably. It seems like there’s no rhyme or reason to who is getting this status update.
I’m sure they have a decent hard number on phones they will ship for launch day delivery.
Just a quick thought.
