Carrier AT&T Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

For what it's worth to anyone:

I logged into the AT&T site at 11:00pm, made sure to stay logged in, and the store transformed into the 'queue' page at around 11:25pm. I went to play a game and came back at 11:46pm. The moment I touched the browser, the queue page became "it's your turn!" In shock, I quickly ordered a 64 SG with AT&T Next and checked out at 11:48pm.

As of 2 minutes ago, my status is still "Preparing to Ship" with an expected delivery date of Nov. 3rd.

Shows ship date between 12/4 and 12/18

May not have mattered. Ordered at 3:34 am ET and have a 12/4-12/18 ship date (256 SG's).

I think everyone needs to slow down a bit and relax! People keep forgetting this iPhone is extremely limited and was pre ordered in 55 countries. Plus Apple, Verizon, sprint, t mobile, Best Buy virgin mobile etc got a share of them.

If your order is November 3, I’m 90 percent positive you’re getting it november 3.

IF your order is November 2-10 probably won’t get it until follow week of release date.

Anything after prob will be in that time frame until Apple builds up on stock and stops production of 8 and focuses on iPhone X only.

We will know by wedneday or Thursday and I bet people will be posting shipped statuses soon. Once first round ships, schedules will update

Unless you are privy to inside info, your optimistic speculation may be based too much on AT&T's suspect order systems. When I log into our Premier biz account it shows Nov 3 for our phones. When I check my order through link to att.com, it says 12/4/-12/18. I suspect their systems were overwhelmed and orders are still being sorted through.

I guess I got really lucky, I meant to order at midnight but forgot. So when I woke up at about 7:40ish, I got on the computer and placed my pre-order with no problems and received an expected delivery date of Nov 3rd.

4:10est on 27th. Took over an hr to get through because att kept kicking me to the end of queue. Once it even let me put phones in Cart then took them out and started my wait over.

As has been stated many times in this thread, they ship next day air via FedEx. You will not get anything until Thursday most likely.

Fedex and USPS. That's the two carriers they will use. That was told me on eCom.
