4:10est on 27th. Took over an hr to get through because att kept kicking me to the end of queue. Once it even let me put phones in Cart then took them out and started my wait over.

Finally got my first update through *6737#. Changed to backordered on 2 sg 64gb. Delivery by 11/3. I was initially charged tax and that has fell off. I can no longer cancel my order so I guess that is good

Mine changed to backordered on my silver 256 this am after two days of being prepare to ship, but there's a cancelation link towards the right side of the screen screen
 
So I read in this thread that phones ordered from AT&T are being dispatched from DFW? What are the odds that we'll get them on early on Thursday if we happen to live in DFW?

They are shipped on Thursday via FedEx next day air. It doesn't matter how close you are since it won't be delivered the same day.

AGAIN go the notice that I need to contact ATT to avoid having my order cancelled. AGAIN called them and was told they need to reprocess my order (originally placed 10/27 at 4:22 EST). I AGAIN hung up and went to the ATT store who said the order shows it should ship for delivery 11/3. She said "if" it gets cancelled I'd have to reorder. WHY WOULD IT GET CANCELLED. They are so messed up. "There's nothing I can do. Sorry."

I was one of the many who had their order cancelled without my permission. 256GB Silver, original delivery window 11/2-10, quoted for 11/3 delivery. It's been about 4 days of being in contact with AT&T trying to get them to rectify their mistake.

Finally I had an e-Com rep who actually knew their job reprocess my order over the phone and restore my shipping window through override.



I preordered before 9 AM on 10/27. See above for specifics.

Wow.. I'm jealous. I ordered the same phone, 4 hours earlier, and have 11/2-11/10 ship dates.
 
Update on my Apple IUP order placed through the Apple Store App. I was originally on the 11/17-11/24 date for delivery and they bumped me up to 11/16-11/24 LOL. One day earlier, thanks Apple! Hope to see some movement tomorrow or the next day to next week.
 
So, I just got a text message from ATT that says my order has been processed and they gave me another order number. I now have a confirmation # and a P.O. #. One shows the order was placed on 10.27 and the other shows 10.30. Anyone else have this? I only ordered one phone and ATT says it’s normal to receive both a confirmation and P.O. number. I’m just confused why the order dates are different.
 
Did everyone receive an email after pre-order? My at&t order looks normal w/ nov 3rd delivery expected, but didn't get anything via email??
 
Was everyone charged tax when they ordered? It says I would be billed on my next statement.
Mine said it would be on the next bill.

I only received one email after my preorder. I never got the second email or text.

Received a email conformation right after order and text messages saying we got your order and it will ship out soon 2 hours later.

I ordered same exact model phone over 4 hours earlier and have a 12/4-12/18 ship date. Me thinks the AT&T ordering system has a random number generated order cue.
 
With my experience, they don't know squat and just tell you what you want to hear to calm you down. Its a mess and there is no rhyme or reason...
I wish I could disagree with this but the CSR I talked to over the phone when I called to verify my order made no sense and was full of false info, including a promise that within 24 hours I'd get another email asking for some more steps because "it was an upgrade" and that my tax charge would be billed to my next statement (ended up just on a random cc already saved on the acct.).

If you have the patience to look back through past pages, you'll find customer service reps really are saying whatever to make you feel better. All you really have is patience (which is a-okay). Good luck to people who were told by CSRs that they reinstated or overrode their orders to get it to them by Friday, I really hope it's true. If you do, definitely re-mention that for record-keeping purposes.

I ordered same color and model @ 4:24 and I am still in progress. I’m in Louisiana
 
So after 2 days of prepare to ship and 1 day of backorder, ATT cancelled my freaking order stating that there is an issue with the shipping address, I'm on the chat with them smh

My order just changed to "Preparing to Ship" for Space Grey 256g with 11/2-11/10 dates. Ordered at 3:57 am ET, in Tennessee. And when I dial *6737# it tells me my order is in backorder.
