Here's my story, on launch morning at 0430 I placed an order for the silver 256gb, for two days it was in "prepare to ship" status, then yesterday (10/31) all day it was "backordered" status, then last night at 2300 (1100p), the order was cancelled due to invalid address. I called Ecom this morning, they did a new order and gave me a scheduled delivery of 11/3 - 11/10. AT&T is really frustrating, I never did a pre-order with them or ordered any phones with them, I always get it from somewhere else. This is my first and last order of a phone with them.
People's priorities in life bruh. Seemed like more people were freaking out last year for the 7 Plus.
As been posted 10 million times, they are sent Fedex Next Day so you most likely won't receive a ship notification until tomorrow. A lot of us have Fedex accounts set up so if ATT starts printing shipping labels today, we will get an alert and I am sure it will be posted here immediately.
I ordered 2 phones, I had 2 pending charges of 100 dollars in my bank account... they have now gone away and the funds have been released... wtf happened??? both are still preparing to ship with Nov 3rd delivery dates.
Hopefully we see some movement today, but I don't expect to see anything until tomorrow as they are shipping FedEx overnight.
They are useful to have. I have one for UPS as well.

Those were authorizations that drop off after a few days. If you are going to be charged for real for an amount, it'll happen when they ship.

I used to buy iPads from apple on pre-order day and when they shipped from China, people would figure out the UPS flight numbers and watch them progress on maps. So people are never satisfied.
I do a lot of online shopping, having a free FedEx, UPS and USPS account is a must because you get notifications as soon as the shipping label is created.
My AT&T app has a status of preparing to ship and the *6737# text message states it is in back order so no worries on my end. I'll have it in hand this Friday.

I’ve made a FedEx account, what do I do to get a notification as soon as the shipping label is created?
Just make sure your profile includes your cell phone number and correct shipping address under contact information. There is an area on their website to set up notifications, but I believe FedEx sends emails only. USPS has the option to send emails and text messages.
People need a xanax in here lol, my order that was preparing to ship for two days was cancelled, but having a nov 3 delivery still doesn't satisfy you, priorities people, at the end of the days, they're just devices - don't let them consume you.
Is there anyway to add a business address as a alternate delivery address on FedEx Delivery Manager? Right now my phone will be delivered to my house but I would love it if I can get it delivered to me at work.
I work from home every day, but I am trying not to schedule any meetings that might get interrupted by the delivery guy.
My local Best Buy got a couple of Apple Leather Cases for the X in yesterday. Midnight Blue is ready and waiting for my SG64

The charges will drop off. It’ll post again after the phone is shipped. Last time it took another week after the phone shipped for it to actually post for me.

I know you can re-route to a Fedex store for free. Not sure about another address.
That would be great. I've never had to do that before? Do you know how I would do that? If not, I'll just contact FedEx.
