No need to be a douche. I've ordered my last 6 phones from ATT around 8am eastern in-store and picked up launch day without issue (couldn't be home to sign for the package).

Side note:

Ordered online 7:03am eastern, 256, silver. Showing 11/2-11/10 in progress.

People who ordered the same config hours after me have 11/3 delivery so anything is possible.

I’m in the same boat. I ordered at 7:40 am est. just chatted with a rep said he has another system he checked and it’s about to change from processing to preparing to ship but who knows lol

Using the *6737# option, my items are now back ordered and I will be notified once they ship. This is good, correct??

Correct it is back ordered until AT&T get the iPhones tomorrow.

Cancel order being gone/order being in prepare for shipment = your order will ship tomorrow.

Order placed through Premier 0315 EST, Delivery November 3rd. Order still says in progress. No other information yet.

I ordered at 3:02am eastern, 64Gb Silver and it says I will get it Friday, but is still In Progress. However the cancel button is gone. Are you saying I won’t get it Friday, as one of the very first people to pre-order it?

This is mostly true, but there's still plenty of time for orders to switch over to "Preparing to ship." If your order still shows "In progress" tomorrow afternoon, then yeah, you likely won't have your phone on Friday.

No not at all for the Silver 256 and the Silver 64 was available for Launch day to about noon.
