Exactly... thats why im confused as to why people are acting entitled. I work for AT&T as well like if i REALLY wanted to I would have someone I know look it up and give me credible info but I don't want to be "that guy"

Houston, TX... Usually UPS passes around my house around 5pm ish and that day I waited and waitied till I heard a knock close to 9pm
i order a lot of stuff online and i don't understand how if it ships tomorrow it will be delivered friday.
they have to reach your locations fedex facility and be listed as "out for delivery" early friday morning for that to happen.
i don't see how if they ship tomorrow they're there by 5am friday

just curious for those who have the cancel order missing from the order status page, is it on the "per item" or on the whole order. On my order status the "per item" is missing but on top right i can still cancel order. see screenshot attached.
They literally do it every year. I’ve preordered through ATT every year since the iPhone 4S. I wake up Thursday morning every year to see it’s shipped. It’s never then not been here on Friday.

Also to add on that... I saw no movement at all which was really wierd cause I knew not many people pre-ordered the iPhone 8. It was till 3am on Sept 21 (Thursday) that I got an email with a tracking number for UPS. Also I am glad to see many with the change of status on the order page but for most of us thats worthless. About two weeks ago I ordered 2 iPhone 8 plus for two of my lines and on the order staus webpage it still shows its processing lol which I recieved them the following day after ordering.
iPhone launch orders from AT&T tend to start shipping at around 11 pm eastern. Not a lot of time left at all.

Very likely you will not. Did you get any emails from AT&T asking you to call in about the order? You should been in preparing to ship by now. Time is running out for your order to move into preparing to ship.

I did not, and I’ve called multiple times and had them confirm nothing was wrong with the order and it would ship on time. No one could tell me why it was still In Progress when all the others were moved to Preparing to be Shipped, but kept confirming that it would ship on time. I guess we’ll see, but I will be very angry if I don’t get it since I ordered the least desirable one at 3:02am, and there are people who ordered late into the morning who will be getting there’s launch day.
You werent even close to one of the first people but directly click the link in the second email, as well as try through text and see what you get. I have 3 different statuses checking it 3 diff ways and i ordered 40 min before you. No need to stress my guy
Maybe not one of the first, but within 15 minutes of it opening. It didn’t open up until about 2:45am eastern, right? I know they were a little earlier than everyone else. You’re saying you ordered at 2:20am eastern/11:20pm pacific time?

We have all discussed in previous threads that in years past we've seen shipments go from nothing to shipped the night before. Please read before you think you know
That is not a common event. Sure, that can happen, but it's not going to happen to you.
5:59 EST order for 64 sg. Just switched to preparing to ship at 2:30 this afternoon. Took away cancel button. Still says 11/2- 11/10.
I checked *ORDR# a few days ago and I was at backorder. That’s a good thing, it means all is well for a Nov 3 delivery.
