I ordered a 6 64GB space grey on 9/19. No movement at all yet. So tempted to cancel the order.

No movement on my 6 64GB order placed in store 9/26, estimated 10/16-27.

As luck would have it, my iPhone 4S is tearing through its battery at idle and staple apps are crashing.

Can I cancel my order, go to the Apple store, and then trade my phone into AT&T?
 
I ordered an iPhone6 64gb space gray on 9/20 via Premier website. As today still no movement on the "backorder" status with expected shipping date: 10/20/2014 To 11/07/2014 . So I called Premier and changed the order for iPhone 6 128gb space gray, 5 hours later my status is: Shipped via USPS Express Delivery. This is my experience, I just want to share it.

I have the exact same order as you, the same order date and the same shipping est. So when you changed it with premier, they shipped your 128GB right away or your 64GB you've been waiting on?

lots of phones in my area ill be going to get a phone today as well just don't make sense to play the preorder game
 
Oh, I hope so. That's my phone. Ordered on 9/12, 2 pm EST. I've been 11/9-11/27 since the get go. No movement, no nothing. I've been on the boards but not commenting much. I remember when I first complained, some guy who ordered when it first opened was kind of mad at me like how dare I complain since I ordered at 2pm. So, I didn't comment much after that. Now, I see people who ordered DAYS after me complaining about how they have dates of 11/5 and being so upset. And I smile. And then I read someone ordered on 9/19 and got their phone and I frown. I know, I should just be happy for them, but wow... it's just so hard. Don't see hardly anyone else with a 128 6+ Silver so who knows, maybe my day is coming.


Don't worry about stuff like that on this forum. If you have a problem then address it. It's based on color and size. The space grey is the most popular so most people who have that one aren't going to see movement as fast as other people.

I called, they cancel the 64GB order and opened a new order with the 128GB. It took like 45min on the phone. But 5 hours later the new order changed from "backordered" to "shipped". I can't explain it, but... True Story ;-)

Figured I would come in here and just share whats happening with me.

Ordered iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Grey on September 12 @ 8:30AM EST (Premier Account)
First Confirmation Email/text 3-4Weeks (received on the 12th)
After that the order status pages Showed November dates
Then they updated to October 13-22 and hasn't changed since
Pending Charge is Gone from my Card
Pending shipment, Preorder Processing, Preparing to Ship since the 12th
Calling the 877 number says backordered, hasn't changed either
Talked to a CSR, they first transferred me to another CSR saying they couldn't answer that question, then the next person just told me the October 13-22 dates again

All the Apple stores around me (Northern Virginia / Washington DC Area) have iPhone 6 Pluses 128GB in either Silver or Gold or both Silver and Gold. But I really want an Space Grey One, which the only people carrying those is Target and they are only carrying the 16GB Model.

I Hope everyone gets their devices.

I just saw a post in another topic. Someone ordered the same exact phone as mine 6 days after me and they're phone shipped yesterday. I ordered the 64GB SG iPhone 6. This is starting to get a little dumb. I've had the est dates of 10/20-11/07 with abesolutley no movement at all! I was patient at first cuz of the mass orders but when there are poeple ordering almost a week after me and getting there phone shipped, its infuriating!
 
I find the lack of 6 pluses shipped in the past few days a promising sign. A huge shipment should go out soon. still sucks for the 9/12 guys.

Well, received my phone this morning. Here's its journey:

Ordered a 16GB gold (non +) on the afternoon of 9/24, so I really lucked out and only had to wait about 7 days. Processed on 9/26, languished for 4 days in ZhengZhou. Got original delivery estimate of 10/2, got pushed to 10/3, then to 10/6, then back to 10/2. When it shipped from Incheon to Hong Kong I got annoyed because a lot of people had flights straight from Incheon to Anchorage and that's when my date changed to 10/6. When it changed back to 10/2 I was skeptical, but once it hit Alaska it moved super fast over to the east coast.

As you can see from my tracking, my local delivery guy was very impatient and left a note on the door. I live on the 3rd floor dude, give me more than 10 seconds to sprint down 3 flights of stairs! Luckily I chased him down before he could drive away.

I love UPS though. Very happy with them. HATE FedEx. And AT&T. FedEx claimed they delivered the iPhone I originally ordered through AT&T on 9/19. (they didn't, I was home all day and constantly going outside and checking) So yeah, NEVER ordering through AT&T again because they use FedEx and they have **** customer service and they won't give you the option of requiring a signature for your phone if you live on a busy street. All they have to do is leave it at your door and their hands are clean of it. Which just makes it your word vs. FedEx's if they claim to deliver it but you don't actually receive it. It took me from 9/19 to 9/24 just to get someone from AT&T customer service to actually reverse my upgrade eligibility. They said they would refund my $$$ too, but turns out that was a lie. I have to dispute the charges through my bank.

BTW, AT&T did put through a second order to replace the phone originally (without my permission, didn't want to do that because there would be no safeguard to prevent my phone getting non-delivered again). I believe they placed it on 9/23, and my ship estimate for that was from 10/1-10/13. Ship estimate, not receive-by estimate. So I'm really really glad I ordered my replacement through Apple. Thank you Apple and UPS!!!! :apple: :)

Same as me, I ordered the 20th and nooooooo movement. Got my fingers crossed for tomorrow! I saw big movement last Friday and Saturday. Hoping I get lucky!

That's crazy, I ordered on the 17th and have the shipping dates of 11/7 - 11/27......ugh

this is not totally true my friend on verizion order on the day after launch and he is stuck on 10/27-11/14 as well as my brother. sg 128

The surprise is the individuals ordering 5 or more days even after me and have better shipping dates, that's what I was referring to. I feel for those that ordered on the 12th and are still waiting.

first off 6 or 6plus ? color space grey is the hardest to come by ! 16,64, or 128? iphone 6 128 your at the back of the line

6 plus, unfortunately Space Grey and I think 16. This is my first time pre ordering so maybe this is normal, I wouldn't know. But by the posts on the forums, it doesn't appear so. :)
 
UPDATE:
Chatted with a rep on ATT to cancel my order, she gave me a number to call as she said she couldn't cancel my order through chat.

Called the number, and it was difficult to finally get a live person. This person told me I had to be transferred to yet another department for my order to be cancelled. He spent a good 15 minutes trying to convince me NOT to cancel my order. So I said I would keep my preorder if he could guarantee that my phone would ship on 10/2 and he couldn't. Then proceeded to try to sell me ATT's Digital Life program. Almost 25 minutes later, he finally transferred me.

3rd representative finally cancelled my order and I was able to order my phone on the Apple website and pick up in store the same day.

Lesson learned, no more pre-orders from ATT.

My order is currently stuck on "Preparing to Ship" with a shipping estimate of 10/02/14 - 10/13/14. Called the 877 number and the status is "backordered". My local apple store has the phone I want in stock. I want to order the phone on apple and then pick up in store, then cancel my ATT order.

However, the apple store is not letting me and is giving me the "We are unable to upgrade this account. We are sorry, but this account cannot be upgraded at this time. Please visit an AT&T store for more account details."

Will I need to cancel my ATT order first to get my eligibility back? Or should I just suck it up and see if my phone actually ships tomorrow. Just hoping it won't ship at the tail end of my shipping estimate. My current phone is on it's last legs.

Other details - Ordered on 9/12 12:45am / 128 GB 6+ SG
