Carrier AT&T Store iPhone 7 launch info

+1, the official word was for Apple Stores not 3rd party. The rumor is other retailers might get very limited amounts of the Plus models.
Yah the pluses will definitely not be available in jet black AT ALL, but I haven't heard anything about the matte black currently. Thanks for the corroboration!

the AT&T district manager letter has been one of those most Quoted posts in the PreOrder threads. I won't do your homework for you..
I assume your talking about this....where does it say no Plus models will be available? It says no word yet on Plus models.
I just talked to a local AT&T store, they said Plus's should be arriving later today and to call back closer to closing time to get a better idea of stock.

- Many stores did not receive much quantity for the first batch. Store employees are not happy because they have sales metrics they need to meet per month (If you don't meet them, disciplinary action can occur if you do not meet your numbers every month).
- I was not told exact numbers but here is what my friend said about one of his larger stores (In a major metro area inside the largest shopping mall in the county)
iPhone 7 (4.7")
Jet Black - Extremely Low
Matte Black - Very Low
Silver - Some
Gold - Some
Pink - Low
iPhone 7 Plus (5.5")
No word yet, those will be trickling in today and mostly tomorrow. Will update when I hear word.
Folks, it doesn't look good as far as stock goes for AT&T Stores. Better start queuing up early.

- There is major concern among all AT&T stores. My friend will be on a regional conference call shortly about how to handle talk tracks to customers about the low stock.
Not looking good for walk-in launch day folks.
If you're talking about the post from the "Regional Manager" int he ATT Pre-order thread, he didn't say that they won't be getting any 7 Plus phones. He said that they didn't get any yesterday.
The information from the district manager is coming from this thread, and so far there has only been confirmation of no Jet Black iPhone 7 Pluses, which we already sort of figured. There was a possibility AT&T corporate locations would receive some iPhone 7 Pluses yesterday, but that evidently wasn't the case, so they should be receiving them today. There will be limited stock, but with all the information that is currently out there isn't any reason at all to believe they won't have any matte black iPhone 7 Pluses.....

This makes more sense, and also corroborates the information found in this thread regarding the delivery of iPhone 7's to ATT corporate locations.

Thanks for the consistent updates. I called my local corporate store and they haven't received Plus's yet so I'll try back closer to closing time. I also have an AT&T authorized retailer 2min from my house, I wonder if they'll get any Plus models.
My apologies, Xana… I thought the original context of your post I responded to was Jet/Matte black Plus. I didn't say that there weren't any pluses of any kind. But Matte black I've also read as confirmed as none in third-party or corporate stores either. I'll stay posted here if you guys hear otherwise We all pretty much knew jet black was a pipe dream.

Yep.. What seemed a far-fetched rumor yesterday by one single person that had a family member in Apple's fulfillment area that:
"the earliest availability date for Jet Black Plus from a manufacturing standpoint is October 1"…
...now seems to be much more than a rumor. If true... it's almost criminal (false advertisement) that Apple wouldn't mention this at the keynote.
If this is true this makes me sooooooooo mad. Why would they give us earlier dates for shipping than October 1st? UGH
Well to be technically correct no one on any thread here has a shipping date for a jet black plus of any kind prior to October 1. Or maybe September 29… so it sort of would be accurate if the original reality was that they weren't even planning to start release until October 1.

If its accurate they should have started all dates with Oct 1- xxx instead of what I got which was 9/30-10/7 pre ordering Before orders even opened up lol..how are they sold out on something when I ordered before orders were allowed lol

Well I was just told no plus in black at all for walk ins! Screws us all! There supply was low this year.

Just spoke to my Local ATT store which is one of the highest volume stores in AZ and they said as of now they had zero 7 plus phones for walk ins.
So much crazy information going on everywhere. Will try some face to face with my carrier later tonight. I know one near by should have gotten both of there drop shipments by now so we will see.
