Ugh! I haven't rebooted my phone.
That's the old plan.
It seems like AT&T hasn't updated the references to the "old" Unlimited plan when you're signed into your account yet. I'm seeing the same (or I was as of earlier this morning). If you go to this URL, it's specifically for the "new" Unlimited plan:
https://www.att.com/shop/wireless/unlimited-plan.html
I went ahead and signed up anyway this morning.... got this text after. Website is just not updated
Big companies move slow when it comes to making changes. Over time it should be fixed but it takes a while sometimes. Just a guess but I can imagine.Curious why they didn't update all references at the same time? Would've saved some confusion.
ATT needs to add tethering to this plan. I have already have the unlimited plan because of the DirecTV caveat. I also have ATT for home internet and it sux. I work in outside sales and always have my Macbook Pro with me, would love to not have to pull into a Starbucks to do something on my laptop.
If you're in your car a lot look at the ZTE Mobley. You can add it to the unlimited plan as a device.ATT needs to add tethering to this plan. No tethering.

I haven't read any of the posts past this but are we certain? I changed my plan around 6am central this morning and I can still turn on hotspot on my iPhone and unlimited data is reflecting on my account profile.
Pretty sure that I'll lose tethering if the phone ever restarts.
What I dont understand is why a tablet costs $40 just like a phone line? I guess it really is all about data these days and talk/text don't really mean anything.
I just signed up for ATT internet. Canceling my cable internet. Im getting the AT&T Fiber Gigabit. Do you have fiber in your area or just the U-verse internet?
AT&T Unlimited goes to 22Gig PER LINE before POSSIBLY slowing. We have surpassed 22 before and have still not been slowed.
I just spoke to AT&T, the 22gb is shared with your family, so whoever under your line reach 22gb, they may slow down the speed on everyone under that plan.
I don't doubt that's what they told you, but I do very much doubt that the rep was correct.I just spoke to AT&T, the 22gb is shared with your family, so whoever under your line reach 22gb, they may slow down the speed on everyone under that plan.
No, t-mobiles is 28. No slowdown though.Where did this magical 22GB number come from? They're all using it.
And what would happen if every wireless customer used 21GB every month?
Would their network simply meltdown?![]()

They were incorrect. It is per line and to be honest no something you will ever notice unless you are in one of a few very crowed areas around the country. I have yet to see a slow down and we pass the 22GB mark on a regular basis.I just spoke to AT&T, the 22gb is shared with your family, so whoever under your line reach 22gb, they may slow down the speed on everyone under that plan.
It's 17% off $60, not $100. It's written as a $40 per device charge plus $60 for the plan.Does anyone have a FAN account and has already signed up for the new unlimited plan? I'm on a plan with my parents and I'm the only one with a smartphone. It looks like from the website, the first line would be $100 and the second two lines (with non-smartphones) are $25 each. So that's $150 before taxes and fees. I get a 17% off discount from my work and it's off the plan price...so if that stays the same, the discount would be 17% off the $100 plan price, right? I'm trying to figure out if it would be worth it to switch. I would love unlimited data but don't want to pay a lot (don't we all?).
