And your argument is that you speak for everyone?

Most people use a case. So there is no camera bump. That's your dumbest argument so far.

I speak for myself. But I am sure plenty others will chime in to tell you the exact same thing. Make the phone thicker, get rid of the camera bump and give a bigger battery.

So you’re dumbest argument is that according to you “most” people use a case? Hahaha hilarious!

Mines been off the charger since 8:24am and been used all day today, pretty much non stop either on here, other set forums, streaming YouTube, streaming music or taking photos... still got 40% left.
Mine was set up Friday mid day, every day as expected it’s been getting better and better with battery.

No way that is correct lmao!!! 11h usage still 40 percent left, even the pro max doesn’t get these numbers.

It does if some of that usage is streaming... screen on time isn’t just screen being on. Or are you now saying the battery usage is wrong? I’ve literally been using it since I woke up pretty much in one capacity or another.

40 percent left with all that usage doesn’t seem right for a small battery, how you finding your battery life so far?

People can’t read a graph... incredible. Those 11.5 hours include at least 3-4 hours of the previous day, plus the usage from 19-22 which isn’t visible. So, at most, it’s around 7.5-8.5 hours. This graph has been around since iOS 12 people, it includes “last 24 hours”. It is NOT since “last full charge”, as it used to be since the beginning.

PD: Overboost, I’m not talking about you, obviously. Battery life seems at least decent, although I’m unsure how it compares to the 11 series and the Xʀ, I’d need more data for that.

Greed? Lol are you an android troll or something? They made the phones thinner and lighter, because people asked for it. When you make a phone thinner and lighter you get a smaller battery.

I don’t know who asked for thinner and lighter. It sure wasn’t me. I will take thicker and heavier any day with more battery. I am pretty sure all the reviews last year said people were happy the 11 pro was heavier and has more battery life than the XS. That being said, I do understand what you are saying. Shouldn’t expect the same or better battery life on a phone that’s thinner and lighter.

Most of these screenshots are wrong, you need to click on last 10 days, then select the most recent activity graph, the blue line.

I always find it strange, as the Last 24hours view looks the same as my current day usage if I click on the current day in the last 10 days view. I feel like the current day view should only show from when I took the device off the charger.

“I feel like the current day view should only show from when I took the device off the charger.”
That would be ideal; unfortunately, it doesn’t show that. It shows everything, disregarding usage whilst charging and disregarding whether you charged more than one time on that day.

Your example shows that perfectly: whilst the “last 10 days” screen shows almost 10 hours with 75% used, the “last 24 hours” screenshot is more accurate, as it shows me that I need to subtract at least one hour to get to the current battery life, plus whatever you used 23:00-00:00 yesterday: whilst I do not know that, I can get a rough idea. Current battery remaining is 30-35%, so... around 9 hours of SOT 100-30%? Seems accurate.

Absolutely On the money, I’m at 32% right now. I’m on an 11 Pro Max though so you can disregard all of my screenshots when we talk about 12 series.

I just returned my 12 Pro primarily because of the battery. Set it up Friday early afternoon and gave it 2 days to sync and settle.

I had it fully charged at 8:30am today and it was red by 5pm and I had the phone on WiFi with 5G disabled (LTE only) all day except for 1 hour on CarPlay. No extreme usage (no FaceTime or video) and the phone had lost 80% after less than 9 hours.

Battery on 12 Pro very disappointing for me since better battery was a top factor in upgrading. Sticking with my old X for another year.

Any reason why you didn’t upgrade to 11Pro last year if battery is a top priority for you?

I can say on day one, off charger at 7 am by 9PM I had 49% left. Basically streaming music, phone calls, browsing internet, video calls, company email on push, 5G on and working.

Day 2 same scenario as above it now almost 10 PM so 1 hour later I have 71% battery left. Huge improvement over day 1. Has to be the optimizing and syncing that comes with a new phone. I am extremely pleased.

Going to give it a few days to see if the phone stabilizes, I knew it would be poor compared to my 11Max but it’s I didn’t realize it would be this bad.

Worst possible outcome is that the battery never stabilizes and I send the 12Pro back, no issues to be had.
