Just returned from my local Best Buy empty handed after being told 2 times my phone was physically there. However, when I got there and went to customer pick up, they not only told me my Xs Max 512GB wasn't there, they also said they had zero 512s delivered.
One customer service rep overheard another telling me it is on a UPS truck and being delivered to store today and that other rep said can't be as they only get deliveries on Monday and Wednesdays. Will see what happens, but I'm not holding my breath.
In the meantime, Best Buy must train their customer service people to lie to us customers and/or tell them to tell you whatever you want to hear on the phone prior to release just to tell appease you and, most importantly, get you off the phone.
If my phone isn't there sometime today for pickup, I' m officially done with Best Lie, err, I mean Best Buy. After spending easily more than $50K over the years in TVs, MacBook Pros, phones and cases, appliances, gaming consoles, games and more, I'll take all my future business elsewhere rather than deal with this clown show!
