Guy lol
But I sat at att and was number 1 but the way they did it when it started was so beyond f'ed up that I almost didn't get a phone

Manager got there st 545 and told us they had every phone every size every color so me and the second guy wanted the 64 sg+, low and behold had none

Well by the time it got to choosing a phone each rep had a customer and than from that point on it was whichever att rep was the fastest the person got there phones first...well mine messed up login 3 times and I was the last to choose a phone..came back and told me no space grey and that he didn't think that there was even another 64 gb s+. And I about went off on him. I yelled manager came over but wouldn't do a damn thing

Thats the same thing they did last year when I camped out. I told them to shove it. The lady that was there for 2 days didnt even get her phone because the rep took to long to look up her account. Some reps asked right away what phone you wanted and grabbed them and others started looking up account info first then get the phone,by then it was to late.....

I feel for you. Same thing happened last year at the AT&T store I went to in NJ. It was not enough to actually be first in line. I actually had to tell the rep to please just stop asking me what accessories I might be interested in buying and just go into the stock room and pull the phone. While she's trying to sell me a case, the other reps are attending to the other customers and it becomes a race against time. Needless to say I didn't get one. It is a lousy way to do business when it is very obvious that customers have been waiting in line for hours for what the reps know is a very limited supply.
Well what made me mad was him having to redo everything I think it was 4 damn times and by that time everyone's phones were already unpackaged. That and the fact a manager stopped and even said oh yeah we have some of every phone and every size so you'll be happy before opening...

Yeah absolutely absurd. That manager tried to play all sweet with me to after I flipped out. About told her to go f herself

What they should do when they have very limited stock of a particular size or color is canvass the waiting line and issue some sort of paper ticket displaying your choice. It would make the process so much easier. Either that makes too much sense or they are just too lazy to do so.

anyone have any luck getting bestbuy to pricematch apple ? Best buy is $50 higher for some reason

Yea,I will never do an ATT store again. It got so bad last year the cops were called.

Yeah I probably will just not this store.

Thad what I'm saying. Every other store does it for everything else why can't they do it...I just kind of assumed that you know waiting in line was for a reason of the order people picked there phones

I mean hell the manager came out and canvases the line before hand and wrote in every iPhone every person wanted..wouldn't you assume if they do that they would pull the damn things out in order or let is know it's not available and choose another???

What a freaking nightmare. I am so pissed.

We live in the middle of nowhere with three distant best buys in three diff town. Went to BB#1 on 9/11/15 and signed up as a new Verizon customer with a 6+ 64gb. I loved the phone but after a few days it became apparent that it was malfunctioning, so I decided to go to BB#2 and exchange it ( was in that town for business ). When I went there they said they no longer carried the 6+ and instead were accepting preorders for the 6s+. They suggested that I pre-order a 6S+ 64gb, so I did. They told me to hang on to the malfunctioning 6+ until the 25th as it would still be in the return window which would give me a somewhat usable phone until the 6s+ arrived. So with my malfunctioning 6+, I went home and awaited the email for my 6S+. This morning I received an email from BB#2 saying that my order would not be ready today. But today was my final day and the return window for my disfunctional 6+ so I went to BB#3 simply to return it ( husband had an eye appointment in that town). That worked out just fine and I was left phoneless but figured it would only be a couple of days before the 6s+ at BB#2 was in stock. Loving the idea of live photos and 4K video, I inquired about how difficult it would be to change the pre-order from 64 to 128 GB. They told me to just forget about my pre-order from BB#2 and to just place a new pre-order with them at BB#3 for a 128gb. I was fine with that so they started the process. However, whenever they came to the part where I was to pay my deposit, they were alerted that Verizon placed a sudden 72 hr fraud hold for returning a defective phone and dealing with three different Best Buy stores . So they were not able to complete the pre-order for the 128 GB phone. We drove an hour back home phoneless and discouraged only to get home to an email from BB#2 stating that my 64 GB 6s+ was ready and waiting. Only now I can't even purchase it because of the 72 hour hold on my account.

Congrats to all of you with your shiny new devices, but I am so so over it.

Well here's to hoping that in the next 2 weeks someone gets a space gray s+ 64gb so I can trade this silver thing in

Am I the only one who just received this lovely email... "We're sorry, but your recent order is taking longer than expected. We expect the item below to be available for pick up within 30 days. We'll send you another email once we've received your shipment and your item is ready for pick up..."

You may have the saddest story! Hope you find one before then.

Me too. I am assuming that "within 30 days" is a standard communication and could also mean "within a few days". Good thing I've got a backup coming in from verizon on 10/12.

I haven't heard if it's my preorder is in nor have I got an email about a delay. Those of you that recieved a delay email did you preorder in store or online?

What a horrible experience.... Showed up for my appointment to pick up my preorder that I already paid for online. They get my phone and proceed to take an hour and a half to figure out how to process it through the computer. And they wouldn't price match ATT/Verizon prices. Never getting an iPhone from Best Buy again.

Did it for a customer today. I wasn't gonna be an ass hole and be like "we can't do that" even tho BBY is always going on and on about how they price match with the competition. Manager didn't have an issue with it either

I wish I had bought my iPhone from you :( the guys at my Best Buy were very quick to say no to Apple, ATT or Verizon. Just curious, what retailer did you put the match in as? I may try and go back to the store and see what someone else can do. I can price match it after buying within the 14 day return period right?

Best Buy has to be one of the worst run companies anywhere. Called in the afternoon to see if my preorder was available. The guy looked up my order and said it indeed was part of the batch that came in and I could come in anytime and get it. After work I pick up my kids and dragged them 20 minutes to the Best Buy. Surprise, Surprise my iPhone wasn't there. What a bunch of fools. There is a reason their reputation sucks..

I have not received that email.....yet. My favorite are all the BB emails I'm getting today with the title, "Get your iPhone 6s, available TODAY!" Called BB, was told my order won't be done today. Pre-ordered sept. 15. Oh well.
