Did you get a 6S Plus? I reserved/ preordered one from BB and they didn't beg in a single one and said no one in the State did...
I did but gave up on Best Buy. Called several today and none had them. Ended up calling sprint stores and like the 10th one had them in stock. All the other stores had none

Yeh unless you're getting an installment plan with your carrier Best Buy is a ripoff. They've always charged $50 more full price than carriers for years with no explanation why.

They probably lose a ton of business doing this since 2 year contracts are a thing of the past now.

I use to work for Best Buy Mobile and people rarely if at all buy phones at full price so I don't think it will really hurt their business lol.

Didn't get a single response from Best Buy and wouldn't pick up so just called and cancelled my order first thing

How did you cancel your order with BB? I put down 50.00, do we get that back? BB told me today that they should get the 6S + tomorrow/ now today, and they would pay for the accessories I had picked out ($89.00 total) because I had been there all day. But Apple told me I can reserve one online at 8 AM so that's what I'm planning. I don't want to be like, ok...'IF' BB gets some then I'll get mine today. I WANT one today! But I also want my 50.00 back from BB.

You really should be able to price match. My Best Buy always does for me. I bought a MacBook Pro not that long ago and not only did they price match but they even matched the government price apple offers. They didn't even bat a eyelash. For them to say no is crap.

I was just able to reserve a 6s+ for pick-up at my local apple store and have cancelled my bestbuy order

Just did the same thing. My store opens regular hours 10:00 instead of yesterdays 8:00. I will be there an hour before it opens.

The manager at my local BB was happy to cancel my order for me and understood the frustration. He was frustrated with these phone manufacturers that hang them out to dry. The Samsung rollout of the 6 was EVEN worse he said. But ATT and Apple totally kill them each year on these bigger phones. I told him BB should STOP the false advertising at their online site where it says AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP "ON" 9/25.. If they'd said "STARTING 9/25" - many of us would have been more suspect. But that wouldn't get them 'business in the door'. But it ends up shooting themselves in the foot as they can't deliver.

Best Buy sent me a text around 6:30 pm last night but I already bought a 6s+ from the AT&T store yesterday morning. Awful customer service from Best Buy

Has anyone's Best Buy received shipment today? Not sure if they get shipments on Saturday.
Despite the iPhone 6s coming out officially Friday. Best Buy used Ground Shipping (doesn't deliver on Saturdays). Not Next Air Day or any of that Saturday delivery option.

I just checked my tracking number / status and I see that my iPhone is sitting at a local UPS Hub in my city and won't be delivered until Monday. Talk about dangling in my face.

Lmao. I'm laughing and upset inside. Yes, it shipped and it's in my city but I got to play the waiting game this Monday for it to arrive.

Got a text last night my silver 128 6S+ was ready.
After facing the interrogation of the employees they commenced on selling the phone.
1.5 hours later I walked out with the phone still in the box and back in the cage. Something happened and they phone was activated but the contract wasn't attached to the account.
Saturday - arrive at 1150am, the interrogation began at noon. Not by one employee but by two. As politely as possible I said, "let's stop right here, please listen and I will explain the situation."
Not too many points were won there.
2PM I walked out with the phone.

I am glad I got the phone but 3.5 hours was not what i was expecting.
No idea what happened.
I know they are busy and it's frustrating for them on so many levels but damn don't get all high and mighty from two seats over.

For some reason, I don't think Best Buy will be on the places to preorder list next year

Called 1-888-BEST BUY to attempt a pricematch. Lady told me they don't match carriers (ATT or Verizon) because "their prices are always lower than Best Buys" to which I replied "...then what is the point of offering a price match guarantee?". She didn't know how to answer. I'm still not giving up.

Talked to another employee at my local store over the phone and he said my best bet is to come to the store and talk to the manager and try to return it if they won't and maybe then the manager will pricematch rather than lose a sale.

I pre-ordered 6s plus silver 64gb on 9/20 via Best Buy website. 899 out of contract. On 9/25 about 6 pm I received an email and phone call that the phone was ready to be picked up. I picked up the phone this morning and asked for a refund of $50 for the price match. Salesman said that is not possible. The manager said no to pricematch on the first week of launch. I told him I wanted to return the phone. He than went to his manager and okayed the price match since I pre-ordered from the website not the store. Took about a half hour to get a refund of 50 bucks. Store could not give the refund since I ordered on website. Had to call the BB customer service.

i ordered online from bestbuy really late (23 Sept) and of course got that email "we're sorry, your order has been delayed". wasn't really in a rush but after reading the posts here re pricematch etc., i gave up and tried to reserve on apple store. by some miracle, at 6:30pm today, a 6s plus-rose gold-16gb was suddenly available in a nearby mall. reserved for 8pm. took 15-20mins. :)

Plenty of issues I see. Guess it depended upon which store, the color, which iPhone and carrier and storage size.

Easy peasy two years in a row for me. I didn't get a confirmation email but I just stayed on top of it with my local store the day before. Mine was not a 6s Plus, no BB in my area currently has any no matter which variant.

I could go through Apple I guess but on launch day an in store pickup could take hours regardless if you preordered.

Or even this:
