Or... Perhaps we're all trying to dissuade others and all end up smashing that Jet Black option at midnight.I'm really glad most here are going for the regular black. Better chance for me to get a jet black model delivered on the 16th![]()

Hmmm...apparently you aren't the only one....I'm torn between Jet Black and Matte black. I'd get JB in a heart beat but a single scratch would drive me mad. I don't over protect my phone but I love to keep it pristine. A scratched back JB would be a nightmare for me. It's cool to have the newest color but I'm leaning toward the matte black now. It also looks good just not as a refresh like JB. I'm gonna pre order both and come to store to see the JB in person. I'll see if it's nice enough for me to choose it.
I wouldn't let the fact that it may scratch or be a fingerprint magnet worry you, get a case and you will be fine. I'm getting the Jet Black, an I've already ordered a clear transparent case off Amazon. I may also get an Apple silicone case as well.
I won't bore you. Suffice it to say, it's one of the five colors.Which one are you getting?
I'm still on jet black and trying to talk myself out of it.Yesterday I was getting jet black now I've changed to matte black lol. Ugh idk gloss looks cheap, but with a clear case it'll look nice.
I'm one of those strange people that doesn't do cases. If I did, this would be a whole lot easier!
I'm actually trying to think through wether the jet black is "too much". I'm a low-key kinda guy, but I just love the phones with a nice mirror finish.
I really, really like Jet Black, but I'm way too OCD about fingerprints and scratches. Let me see what Spigen has in the way of transparent cases.

Yeah, maneuvering-wise, pre-ordering iPhones is second only to grandmaster-level chess![]()
It seemed more than just splash proof, I've seen it fully submerged for like, a half hour or something and it still worked. It might've been sometimes splash resistant if you were lucky (even ifixit did a review of the gaskets and seals in the 6/6S and said it was better than previous phones, but certainly not enough to get an official resistance rating), but there's a far cry from that, and the IP67 rating the 7 has.
