I get that but the hands on sessions are what two hours or so post event. I would not expect a ~$900 phone to have any marks. I am sure they don't just let the people there just carelessly throw them around as they know editors will be making videos and don't want bad publicity of seeing a beat up phones. Why do you think they have people going around wiping them down (you can see in some videos) to keep them as fresh as possible as this is the only real life videos consumers see prior to launch. I have a bad feeling about this one....but I guess we will see in a few days.
Over thinking it I think, there are people going around wiping them, but they don't wipe the, every time someone uses them, they are passed around. If you want a jet black, get the jet black why shouldn't you get the one you want just because of fear of scratches and fingerprints. Seems a little silly to me.

That is true. People sometimes intentionally try to mark phones just to see how durable they are.
