:D Fantastic pricing on the UK site too

2 X 1Gb= £35.24 (inc VAT)
2 X 2Gb Kit = £115.14 (inc VAT)

If I'd forseen the number of iMac returns I'd make before todays date, I would have saved myself approx £50.00. As a result the RAM i did buy has been up three iMac's now  and is awaiting it's 4th insertion ;)

Anyone else have theirs shipped? I ordered mine with Google Checkout and they all still say "Sent to Warehouse"

You guys are probably going to have to wait a while. There where sooo many orders placed for that memory.

I was lucky and stumbled upon the deal early in the day.

I put my order in on the 6th @ 4pm and it's still in "sent to warehouse" status. I hope I get that deal....

They have 3-5 days man so just relax. I ordered mine a lot earlier than you, so that is why mine is shipped. They are probably waiting for more stock to come in...

Not sure I'd call it fantastic compared to the US offers but you can pick up a Crucial single 2GB on the UK site for £51 inc VAT which trumps most other UK sites from what I can see.

It's gone down again to £49...
I'm tempted.

I got really excited as I started reading this thread, but now they're all gone. I'm about to put the order on an iMac, but I'm debating on upgrading to a 2.8Ghz. I probably could have with the savings on the RAM. Oh well.

The cheapest I've found for 4 gigs right now is $156 from macsales.com Does anyone know of cheaper? Or if this deal will ever happen again?

Keep an eye on the site... They might get some back in stock.

It says $149, not $156, on my screen for '4.0GB (2GB + 2GB Module Set) Upgrade kit for all Apple ...' on macsales.com right now. Maybe you should empty your cache and view again? :)

I'm debating on whether I should upgrade to 2GB or 4GB on my new 2.2 GHz SR MacBook- any thoughts by anyone? Is 4GB necessary if I'm not using my MacBook for anything like video editing, photoshopping, etc, or is it overkill?

Hmm...good catch. The price has lowered since yesterday.

It looks like the Samsung logo on there. Doesn't Apple use Samsung RAM, or am I just pulling that out of nowhere?

And I've never seen a price match guarantee like this one before...

If you should find a better price online for the same Module within 24 hours, Memory America will refund the difference—and give you a starbucks card worth $5

Does it bother anyone else that they have a disclaimer when you add the memory to your shopping cart that says: "Photos are not contractual."?

That would mean that it may not matter if you see 'Samsung' in the photo...

I thought the new Macbooks were running on 800 MHz, so I guess this RAM would work, but not with optimal performance. Am I wrong?

Memory runs at 667MHz on Macbook's. The FSB on the PROCESSOR is 800.

That's the answer I was hoping to here. I'll immediately order some extra RAM for my hungry baby... :)

edit:
Damn, I did not see that it's not available any more... :-(

good point....sounds kinda shady. I might give them a cll just to see what they say but i'm hoping that buy,com will get more instock.

I just got off the phone with memoryamerica. THe rep told me that they deal with either Samsung or Micron RAM, so if you order from them, you will get one or the other.

Word.

Does it sometimes happen that articles at buy.com get back in stock after they were sold out?
