If there's no announcement today, here's to the creation of a November 31, and here's to the creation of iTMS Canada on November 31!![]()

That's okay, once they finish polishing the levy on all copyrighted works that do not explicitly say 'Free for distribution' on them, they'll make up for it on web page charges alone[1]
[1] Note, for those not following the proposed changes to Candian Copyright Law, fueled in part by the hysteria surrounding the mis-represented P2P decision, this is not a joke

The (vast) majority of the music that can found on acquisition and other similar p2ps is that of major recording artists who are already making money. I buy dozens of cds each year from indie artists who's tracks are not available on the internet and don't feel bad about it because I know that I am paying for that band to make more music. I do not believe that The Rolling Stones need any more of my money and when I download one of their songs from the 60s that they are still charging so much money for, I couldn't care less about royalties.
I'd rather give the Apple Corporation money for innovative products that could be useful, for instance, computers, rather than supporting them in their 100% moral quest to give money back to the artists.
Oh, by the way, I am too young to own a credit card. I had my 17th birthday last week. What's the point? Aren't I the target audience for iTunes and iPod. Why would a service have music targetting teenagers that is totally unappealing to anyone under the age of 30?
