I tell a lie - just got an email saying my CPW order should be delivered by DPD tomorrow.
So if all pans out I’ll have THREE 64GB silvers. Will most likely return both contract ones on Saturday
Update on Northern Ireland orders....
Just showed my order progress to a friend who works for a place sending/receiving DPD orders on a day and daily basis and says my order should arrive at the depot early tomorrow morning before the vans are loaded for delivery and will make it to the CPW store for earlier evening at the latest.

So to be fair carphone have been good in getting us our phones, when they had all them phones showing them delivering for the third they were right.
They're customer service is terrible but they pulled through, if your looking at this carphone you need a system where people can create accounts and actually track their order, it would literally stop all us crazy people calling and using live chat, you also need to have your staff communicate better

Anyone know if CPW stores will be carrying ANY stock for walk-in customers? I asked them on twitter and they just say they can't guarantee if stores will have stock. Does anyone have any information about this? Has anyone talked to their local stores?
Does anybody’s DPD app or anything actually tell them where their phone is? Mine actually says it was signed for by somebody (assuming an employee at the CPW) but doesn’t give info of where or anything. The closest thing I’ve had was a despatch email off CPW with the name of the store I’m having it delivered to
In the same boat, although I tried to collect this afternoon and the response was "We have to hold it until tomorrow as per Apple rules. Your phone is here we just can't give you it"

Why has the whole sim locking thing come back up?? No the phones don't lock to the first sim!
They won't guarantee the phone will work in other countries to cover themselves. some of the manufacturers put blocks on them.. Samsung in particular have a big label on the box saying they will only work with European sims

If it helps, my DPD app didn’t update with the order until around 19:15 ish this evening and I haven’t had any emails or texts or anything, so it’s worth keeping on checking the app. Just make sure you have authorised in the app with the email address and phone number that you have registered against your delivery... Fingers crossed for you!
But you can still get it unlocked right? Even if it gets locked to the first SIM?
Ok, idk why they don't clearly mention this on their support pages. And idk why their twitter support says it gets locked.
I upgraded my delivery slot to 8:30 - 10:30am as well.

Hope everyone gets their phones tomorrow. As an upgrade on EE from CPW I’ve not had dispatch notices or DPD notifications. I’m wondering if I will or if I will simply get notification tomorrow when (if) the phone arrives at the store?!
In exactly the same boat! Hope we get a text in the morning when the DPD trucks deliver their same day deliveries.
