Good news: I was able to install the update you attached to that post via USB.
Bad news: OTA is still showing no updates available. @VLud any thoughts?

same on both my version 1 and version 2 devices, installed 9/23 but OTA shows no updates. Really odd.Good news: I was able to install the update you attached to that post via USB.

aha so rolling back to 08/04 should allow me to get the 10/27. will give it a try .Not Odd. OTA checks your version against the last OTA release which as of this writing is 8/4 v2 (kidding but there was too different 8/4 releases if I recall [the second a roll back version]).
** The OTA check is intelligent enough to compare anything 8/4 or newer is the lastest. That is it does not say O well you have 9/x let me update you 9/y that was never OTA released.
I’m on 08/04. I checked today, and 10/27 isn’t available OTA for me.aha so rolling back to 08/04 should allow me to get the 10/27. will give it a try .
i have a mercedes. it works fine. the last available firmware works fine. you get the odd boot to black screen but rest seems to be working ok. my usbc version came with 0804. i have flashed each version until 2020-09-23 omitting 8.27 and 9.18. i had to do it like that as i have noticed that you cannot flash from 08.04 straight to the newestAny solution about Mercedes?
More and more it seems like the “latest” version varies considerably from person to person, seemingly on identical devices. Mine came with one from July and an hour on WhatsApp with Carlinkit support only yielded them assuring me that was indeed the latest version and the OTA upgrader is correct, which of course is demonstrably false. Not sure where to go from here.I am on 8.04 and I have no idea what version it is. My OTA update shows 8.04 is the latest OTA. True?

Yes, but don't most? I chose the unit listing that is intended for my vehicle (2017 CR-V). All non-LX CR-Vs of this generation (fifth) use the same head unit.If I am reading this correctly and you are saying that the headunit is running Android, then you probably have the wrong adapter. You would need the version specifically for Android based systems.
Come to think of it, I wonder how many other people with issues getting the adapter to work at all might have had the wrong one and actually needed the Android version.
Mercedes with MBUX?i have a mercedes. it works fine. the last available firmware works fine. you get the odd boot to black screen but rest seems to be working ok. my usbc version came with 0804. i have flashed each version until 2020-09-23 omitting 8.27 and 9.18. i had to do it like that as i have noticed that you cannot flash from 08.04 straight to the newest
😢 one year I’m waiting for the MBUx supportnope, just command online c-class 2020.
Can someone post a file for the new 10.27.2020 update? It may fix my blank screen issue because of the delay.
no update for meGood day, my carlinkit 2.0 also received the 10/27 update via ota and I noticed an improvement in boot speed, boot in 20 seconds. My car is a 2017 Fiat Tipo Hutchback with 7-inch Uconnect. I am satisfied with the performance that this adapter is giving me. Before 09/23 firmware it was not fully compatible with my car, now it also receives updates via OTA. With this latest update, the rotary switch on my radio now also works, allowing me to scroll through the apps.
