No kidding right. Yes it’s working same old crappiness from before. So thats a result if its working now then.
Worrying that they sent you away with a part finished software update, what if there was some safety related stuff that had got messed up.

How do you guys get the new firmwares? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
Got one of them but i like having carplay on those short journeys where you leave your phone in your pocket.
The Brodie will be coming out shortly now I am comfortable with the wireless unit.
Just get the one already made from Ali express or one of the magnetic QI mounts from amazon
That’s what it does - you connect to the WiFi but it still says 4G (and the WiFi connection is invisible)... though you should still be able to connect to 192.168.50.2
Edited to add - Carlinkit is identical to Carplay2air. I’ve got a Carlinkit too.![]()

it would need to be blinking blue in order for you to connect.ThanksBut it’s weird then, that I can’t connect to192.168.50.2 isnt it?
The red light keeps flashing and it just says “connecting”.
Just a heads up. That unconnect software site doesn’t work. I had several updates to my unconnect that the dealership did that the website told me my VIN was “up to date” which was a crock of ****.You can check if you have the latest UConnect for your car online at https://www.driveuconnect.com. Just enter your VIN. I know mine have the latest for my Jeep Compass.
Interesting that whatever state @mikejd1 was placed, it resemble what I get (just the red light).

Keep waitingGood to know. Thanks. But I assume that my 2020 Jeep has a recent, if not the latest, firmware. But I will get in touch with the dealership to be sure.
On another note, sent yet another email to "Michael" asking for any "Jeep related news". So far... silence (one night delay as it's coming from China). Still waiting... waiting...waiting...
I plan on filling a PayPal dispute if “Michael” doesn’t respond to my emails today...Everyone should file a dispute with there credit card. That would get there attention quick. The customer service for this product is absurd
