CarPlay CarPlay adapter to convert to wireless CarPlay?

No such issue with mine.

I went to 192.168.50.2 to check the version, not too sure how you tell what it is currently on, but was prompting to install 2019.12.16.1914. I didn't do it as everything is working fine for me at the moment.

It works in my 2018 Dodge Charger on the latest update. I just get in the car and don’t touch the screen and it goes through. My Charger is running Uconnect 8.4.
Also if anyone is having issues, put the car you have in your response.

Just submitted my PayPal dispute against "Michael". Let's see if he responds to this.. Most likely he will as it's now an official PayPal dispute.

Thanks for the suggestion. It turned out the problem was a well-hidden cellular setting on my iPhone. Once I rectified that issue, the installation continued without a hitch. I upgraded the firmware as prompted with all fingers and toes crossed, and the adapter has functioned just fine ever since. I have also paired a second iPhone with the adapter without any problem.

I am now awaiting delivery of another adapter, which was ordered a month ago, left China a week later, and then disappeared off the radar. Yesterday it resurfaced in Italy! Curiouser and curiouser. I hear that Florence is lovely this time of year. :) Hopefully it will eventually make its way to the US.

Anyone can make it work with 2020 Lexus RX?

Apparently my phone can connect to the car unit using wireless CarPlay, and I can play music through it (the music stops when I unplug the dongle). However, the screen remains blank without showing anything.

I have already updated it with this version: 2019.12.16.1914.

Recently got one of these adapters. Trying to use it with a 2018 Honda Accord. Red LED just stays solid and I can't discover any bluetooth connections in my phone.

I attempted to update the firmware, but the red LED just stays solid. I never get the blue and red LED. I've tried multiple different USB drives to no avail. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Make certain the USB thumb drive is whistle-clean, with no hidden or backup files or other unseen debris. If in doubt, reformat the drive to insure a fresh start.

Yep every flash drive has been freshly formatted as FAT32 and I even did a Diskpart Clean on them to remove all partitions. Wonder if I got a dud.
