CarPlay CarPlay adapter to convert to wireless CarPlay?

Please stay on Version 2022.06.08.1109.

Each firmware version is not necessary the same. There are specific steps you need to do in a specific order.

Now please confirm that it is the red UI. How will you know, this is the next step you need to do. Connect the Adapter to a supported Vehicle ie. Mazda,Kia,Nissan, Volkswagen. Set it up on that Vehicle, so that it goes into Wireless Carplay.

Then once the Adapter has been setup, then you can try it on your Mitsubishi Pajero. From the research I have done it appears the Adapter needs to be set up on a supported vehicle first.

Can you please try resetting the adapter and then ensuring sync mode is turned on in advanced menu on 192.168.50.2. With latest firmware on current Green UI

i've a CarLink CPC200 (v2 version), now it stuck at fw version 2022.06.17.1710, not recognized anymore from my car and it broadcast a Wifi network called (AutoBox-582f w/password 12345678). I've tried factory reset, enable sync mode but nothing to do.

Also tried to download "U2W_AUTOKIT_Update_2020.12.25.1732_ROLLBACK.img" and put into an USB key, dongle light red/green for few seconds but doesn't downgrade.

Any solution? I've also a flash programmar, so I can try to flash on of the dump into the ludwig-v git's

Any idea of what sync or backstage modes actually do?

Synchronous mode (normal, compatible):
Standard: normal mode
Normal mode: Resolve issues with the instrument panel display.
Compatible mode: Fixes the problem that certain vehicles cannot connect to the dongle.

Background mode information: some cars go black after plugging in. So, turning on background mode may fix this. This mode means it skips showing you the connecting' screen. It connects in the background and once it's connected shows CarPlay interface

I currently have the custom firmware "2021.04.26" installed (Red UI),
does anyone know how to go back to the original Carlinkit firmware?

/edit: okay, now i have the newest 2022 Version, But with the Green UI, before i had the red Ui, is it possible to switch back to the red ui?

I upgraded my car’s infotainment FW (2017 mazda 3) and now my carlinkit 3.0 isn’t as stable as it previously was. My infotainment does boot up faster which is nice.

I reverted back to the 2021.08.24 FW to see if the adapter would be more stable but it’s not great. If I want to go back to the FW with the new web interface, do I have to flash it via USB?

Recently I upgraded to the latest June software and auto connection to my phone stopped working. I could get it to connect by going into phone settings and forgetting the dongles WiFi network OR reselecting the BT connection. It was getting frustrating. The fix turned out to be on the dongle changing the names of the dongles BT and WiFi networks. Upon reflection I think I had to do this before with a last software update.

I then have to long press the home button then go back to CarPlay for the image to come up. 2017 Mazda 3.

Stop updating to any new firmware if you are not having any issues. I'm on the same Mazda and carlink firmware for the past 2 years. if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Spent 5€ to replace SPI flash instead of buy new one for more than 100€+ can be a cheap solution..

I have the same problem with 2022.06.17.1710, I had to revert it back with my computer to 2022 Jan firmware. It works now. Avoid that "2022.06.17.1710" at all cost.

Found out that 2022.6.10.1430 is also causing issues. So avoid any firmware from the month of June 2022.

You’ll have to go back to original firmware.

Put this on a USB stick along with these two files in my image (same structure).
