Help! I have the carlinkit 3.0 adapter and had flased the CAR2PLAY FW (don't ask me why...ha). I then reverted back using "U2W_Update_2020.11.10.2138_ROLLBACK.img" and now I'm stuck on the FW version before 2021.07.04. When I try to update the FW via the web interface it gives me an error. I have tried multiple FW versions and renaming to "U2W_AUTOKIT_Update", "U2W_Update" and "U2W_ZYD_Update" and nothing works.

Any idea where to go from here?

Try load this:

Unable to flash the first one. Nothing happens when I plug in the flash drive. I tried changing the file name to "U2W_AUTOKIT_Update" and "U2W_ZYD_Update" but no luck. Any suggestions?
Hmm move onto second. You shouldn’t need to be renaming each time if the previous firmware I gave worked.

So obviously the Cplay2air firmware is bricking these units and needing to restore the original configuration. I think they need to remove the CPlay2Air firmware from the public link as people will keep running into this issue.
Agreed. Also, this is the FW that was installed. I was expecting the red UI but it’s working OK so far..

Thank you very much! What is the procedure for the offline update?
2. Please save update firmware file on a USB flash drive (Flash drive format must be FAT32)
3. Plug CarPlay Adapter into the USB power charger/wall charger for your iPhone. Please don’t use the USB port of the car or computer.
4. Plug the USB flash drive into the CarPlay adapter.
5. Please wait 2-3 minutes, until the flashing light becomes solid
6. Please unplug the adapter from the USB charger and remove the USB flash drive from the adapter.
7. Please now plug the product into the USB port of the car.
8. Please wait until the new window appears on the vehicle's screen.
9. Connect your phone to the Bluetooth network which is shown on the screen.
10. Wait for the new interface to appear on the screen.
