Thanks for the tip. I have been trying to figure out why my unit loads CarPlay intermittently. But since I been waiting to load CarPlay before putting my car in reverse, it works every time. I hope they fix this bug with the next update. Again Thanks. BTW do you know how the delete my old iPhone from the CarPlay login.Correct. I’ve called this out 100 times. If you put the car in reverse and it calls the backup camera before CarPlay loads it fails and you have to pull the dongle out and put back in. I’ve reported this to them about 500 times since I got the thing in early November.
I have still not had a reply from the elusive Michael but I have opened a dispute with the Credit Card company.
After reading here I thought I would give it one more go and first connected it to a Windows 10 PC as I have read that it should show up as an iPhone, well mine does not even show up as anything, it does not even register that it has been put in to the USB socket of the computer and I have tried all of the sockets.

Ok, It is now being recognised and is showing as an iPhone but states that there is a driver error.
The one listed on Chytah website is for Android head units. Where do they sell the one for built-in Carplay?By the way, there is another company called Chytah that offers the same dongle. I checked, it’s from the same company that makes these dongles in China. My brother works in China and he did the background check on this company. He said it’s a small company established since 2014. Can’t really tell if the product is good or not. Therefore, I believe pretty much all of the dongles are made from the same company, but branded by other sellers.

they have a video with wireless CarPlay.
No consumers like this but it's a common practice in many countries, unfortunately. Also, I can't believe they're gonna try charge me a $25 restocking fee if they can't find a fault with it. And not going to refund my shipping fee and making me pay for the shipping back to them.
There is no way for them to legitimately validate my fault because all cars have different head units/entertainment systems and unless he has access to my exact car make/model, he could just say he tested it in a car which he knows it will work with and say there is no fault on their end, just to charge me the $25 restocking fee.No consumers like this but it's a common practice in many countries, unfortunately.
So you have a reverse-reverse bug? 😁odd thing here, i know that most of you have a reverse bug where, if you put the car into reverse and loads up the backup camera, the dongle fails to load.. For me on the other hand, I've noticed with my CLA250 that if I put my car into revserse and backup camera loads on the screen, the dongle is actually able to initiate. Most of the time when I do not do this, the dongle fails to initiate and the screen is constantly going in a loop of failed activation of CarPlay...
Yep lol so weird. It’s like the dongle isn’t getting enough power unless the car is in reverse for some reason. So you have a reverse-reverse bug? 😁
I’m working with them currently on this. Have an email chain going doing some diagnostics.Still no fix for the 'screen stays black' issue in my Seat Arona 2019? I can connect it will even play some audio.. I just don't can get any thing to display on the screen..
What dongle do you have? I noticed you bought yours way back in August....is it Carlinkkit? It's def not carplay2air even though i think it was established they are pretty much the same thing.Nothing for me and “support” says wait for new software..... since September
