Yes 2022.12.14.1100 is terrible. Use 2022.07.29 instead
Hi! I'm from Belarus. Sorry for my English. There was a problem with Carlin kit 4.0 (CPC200-CP2A). The fact is that after pressing the "Reset" button, Android does not see either Bluetooth or WiFi. I installed all U2AW firmware. Nothing helps. The only thing is, when you install the latest firmware U2AW/_AUTOKIT/2023.03.10.0903/U2AW_AUTOKIT_Update.img, there is a connection via Bluetooth, but there is no WiFi.
What do you advise me to do?

Only difference I’ve noticed is that ‘background mode’ now works for me so I don’t need to see the unsightly interface anymore.

One question, someone is having problems with cplay2air, google maps and waze, navigation and the entire carplay system slow down. With apple maps everything is perfect.
I have a CPC200-U2W with firmware 2022.12.14.1349 (white interface).
Sometimes I have freezes.
I think I try firmware 2022.07.29.1625.
Is there a way to get the new interface? I read that "Background-Mode" now works great with new interface. Or is there anything else that can be optimized?

My background mode will not work. Sync mode changes nothing (on off).

I had to downgrade all the way back to 2022.01 to get background mode to work again. I did that using the USB stick method as the web interface only seems to allow two rollbacks only.

Thank you! At t he moment 2022.07.29 works good for me (Except for background mode, but is not problem).
So, i bricked my Carlinkit 3 with an official update. I flashed a firmware dump with an external programmer and all is ok now, but i want to try to update to v4, so i flashed MX25L12835F_FW_20220927_Broadcom4354_toV4.BIN file. After flashing this, dongle starts ok but i can't activate. I always get a 501 Failed error.
I need your help please (sorry for my bad english).

I don’t have Carlinkit v4 but you can download img file from here. These img files are using the red menu. ie. U2AW_AUTOKIT

I got an email from support@autokitcarplay.com today with information about the launch of a new product - Carlinkit 2air.
It seems similar to Carlinkit 4 in that it works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I’m trying to work out the actual difference.
Can anyone help explain any differences or new features/specs of this new product?

With Carlinkit 4.0 you need wired CarPlay to get Wireless Android Auto to work, with the 2air you can also use wired Android Auto to get wireless Android Auto.
Hi, i have carlinkit v4. During update it just died, no red or green light, i used VLud

and flashed the chip. Now it is back to live and can update the software. BUT no matter which version i've tried from those which are available in github i'm stuck on "need to complete activation" screen. When i go into 192.168.50.2 there is no activation option and also i see "Failed,501" on the car screen. Tried update and rollback from the device same problem.
Tried using an iPhone, no difference.
The car is VW Passat 2018, my phone Samsung s22 ultra
Any ideas?

There are any new version for Mini version? I’m still stuck with 2022.07 because 2022.12 breaks the two finger touch, but in that versioni have some random disconnection and most of the time any maps app need to be opened otherwise it stuck at black/blue screen and doesn’t update the position

MX25L12835F_FW_20220927_V4.BIN ? Bt&wifi works?
I got this and works pretty well look at picturetry this:
When wifi&bt works after flash log at the device get upgrade to the newest firmware (use wall charger no car system). Activate using iPhone (connect to device bt, mobile data disconected, connect to wifi device ssid write password 12345678 and get site 192.168.50.2) when connected to the car
